Am diabetic and taking the pills. My blood glucose was well in control 121 fbs and A1C 5.2. I started going to gym recently and my BG shoots to fbs 188. I take Azulix 2 mf every morning. After 1 dose of 25 mg hydrochlorothiazide I began experiencing an elevated heart rate (97-121 resting). After my 2nd dose I developed hives. I called the doctor's office on a Friday afternoon, spoke with a nurse, but no one called back. I stopped taking it 2 days ago. My heart rate continues to be in the 100-120 range. It could take awhile for such symptoms to go away, according to FDA reports. Those can be symptoms of an allergic reaction, which means you may need to try a different medication. I have been on Lesinopril 20mg for a little over a year now. I just stopped taking it 4 days ago, trying to go natural on keeping my BP down. the first day I just did yoga each day, ate low calorie food as roasted veggies, and drank smoothies. My daily drinks consisted of Pomegranate juice and a spoon apple cider vinegar diluted with a cup of water. My average BP for the last 3 days was 121/78. I take 12mg of suboxone a day and it keeps me level headed and happy for the most part. It’s saved my life, but it doesn’t completely ameliorate my urges to use.
