I just want to know how to take Sompraz? There are 3 tablets for the morning & 3 tablets for the evening in one kit. Doctors have prescribed the same kit to me for 14 days. I have stomach pain, like feeling hungry and panic attacks. Sometimes it's also hard to breath. Sometimes I have stomach pain, panic attack on upper stomach. At night feeling uneasy and very tired and sometimes sufferring to breath. doctor said high acidity and given Sompraz D 40 before food once a day. I feel little better but not OK. Based on my endoscopy I have been diagnosed with H pylori. I am suffering form GERD, having intense gas formation causing headache, vomiting, etc. Dr suggest Sompraz HP for 14 days. I started taking the medicine yesterday (i.e from 19.05.2017) in the morning after breakfast and in the evening after dinner. On the first day after taking my first dose of medicine I began to feel a vibration in my body. I want to know whether sompraz 40 and nexpro 40 are same medicine with different nomenclature. One of my family member was advised to take sompraz 40 along with other medicines. I've been taking sompraz hp and normaxin for the past week. My question is if alcohol can be taken along with this medication (once a week)? ## Hi. I am taking sompraz kit along with normaxin and udiliv. I'm now out of my two-week course I have taken for 12 days. My question is, can I drink alcohol? ## No you can’t. You have to give it time (at least 2 months) for your GERD and gastritis to settle down. Alcohol may interfere with your healing process and it may become dangerous with severe stomach burn.
