I've just found out that I'm 5 weeks pregnant and am have been taking Vesicare Solifenacin. I have stopped immediately but am now worried that I may have caused some damage. I have read that some babies have been born with defects like muscular, hearing and am now extremelly worried. If anyone has any info at all it would be hugely appreciated. My doctor has just prescribed Solifenacin for overactive bladder. Previously I had been on Detrusitol. Can anyone tell me if one is better than the other? ## What it really comes to down is which medication is best and safest for you to use and the only way to really know that is by trying it, as your doctor advises. Did your doctor say why they were changing the medication?
