i am using softovac since one year regularly, should i expect any adverse effect,what should i do now ## Softovac is herbal product absolutely safe but it contains Senna leaf there fore it should be altered with Fibril SF after 15 days and keep altering between these every fortnight.

I am using softovac (bowel regulator) daily night 1 spoon, are there any side effects of forming stones in pancreas etc? ## Softovac is a laxative that contains: cassia fistula 0.5 gm, fennel , ispaghula 2 gm, liquorice 0.25 gm, senna 0.75 gm WIth those ingredients, it is a supplement, rather than a medication and the side effect profiles are not studied for it. The only thing regularly reported is some abdominal cramping. However, you should know that if you use it every night for a long period of time, your body may become dependent on it and if you stop using it, you may be unable to have a bowel movement without it. i just wish to know that if softovac has any side effects? ## At 73, along with COAD, HPT, T2DM, and BPH I suffer from 55-year-old Constipation. Softovac, Duphalac, and all other drugs have failed to give me bowel movements. i have piles and i used to take softovac but after taking it now i m suffering from loose motion... please let me know is there any such kind of side effect of it??? Should i drop to take it??? please answer me as soos as possible ## Hello, Knavish! How are you? This is an ayurvedic supplement that is meant to be used as a laxative, thus it is supposed to cause loose motion and you can find other details about it on the manufacturer's website. It will not help with piles. Have you consulted your doctor for advice on how best to treat them?

I have been using Softovac Powder 2 sf every alternate day for last 3 years . I have been getting relief also except stomach cramping. Recently I have been diagnosided have billirubin on very slightly higher side. My doc asked me to stop softovac for sometime and given me Lactihep syrup ( supposed to help billirubin as well as relief from constipation) but I am not getting my bowels movement clearly. Should I start softovac ? Does it increase billirubin ? As far as I know the priority is to keep stomach clear by regular bowel movement .What should I do.?
