Small Yellow Pill V On One Side

My grandmother has a vial with small, yellow pills marked with an L1 on one side, blank on the other side. My serious concern is that the vial is for a different medicine (per description on label.) What medicine is this small, yellow, round pill marked L1? ## From what I can discover, these contain 20mgs of Famotidine, the active ingredient in Pepcid, this is the over the counter dosage, commonly sold in many stores. They are used to treat heartburn and GERD. I understand your concern, but did you just try asking her what they were?

I had trouble with sleeping and was prescribed small yellow pills with FD on one side and blank on the other. Can I get more information? ## May I ask where you are located? Also, were you given any packaging or a patient handout when the doctor prescribed these for you? Any other details would help because this does not appear to be a medication from the US.

Have a yellow oval pill one side V, other side 10/95 ## "V 10 95" doesn't seem to exist in my own investigation. "V 36 01" appears to be the closest known representation, for if you accidentally hold it upside down on the back the numbers read out very similar to 10 95. Depending on its overall condition, the backwards 3 may resemble a 5. Never the less, we can at least determine that the manufacturer is probably Qualitest (Vintage) Pharmaceuticals since they're the only company with a "V" and two other sets of numbers depicted in such a way. Did you get this filled at a local pharmacy?

it has 80 on one side blank on other ## I can't find this listed in any of our U.S. prescription drug resources. With just that marking, be it 80 or 08, I have a suspicion that it is something available over the counter, though there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Was it found in the U.S.? Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

They typically contain about 200mgs of Caffeine and are used as alertness aids. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness and insomnia. Trying to figure out what I've stumbled upon. Its yellow/white or beige/white in colour, the only markings I can find is a 40 stamped in brown on one side and nothing on the other. The edges are rounded and smooth, its got a coating on it. Looked it up and so far no luck figuring out what it is, please help!
