I noticed that my new prescription from Walmart of Ropinerole looked different than prior months. I looked the pill up and cannot find it. It looks more like an aspirin than anything else. Does anyone have any information on this the pill described in my Subject field? ## This is a 0.25mg Ropinirole tablet, which is commonly used to treat symptoms of Parkinson's Disease and RLS. Learn more Ropinirole details here. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, hallucinations and hypotension. And it is normal for your pharmacy to switch, if a different manufacturer is offering a cheaper price, when they need to restock their supply. I'm trying to identify a white oval pill with irpm on one side and 121 on the other. It was given to me as a blood pressure prescription, but from what I'm reading it's for pain. ## Hi Lloyd, can you please confirm the imprint? In the title you wrote "rph 121", but in your message you wrote "irpm on one side and 121 on the other". I also see a related thread on this site asking a similar question about a white pill with "rph 121" and they stated that this is a Canadian medication. Is that the case for you too? Lastly, where were you reading that this is for pain? Do you have any other details about the manufacturer or drug name that could be used as a cross reference? ## It is purchased in Canada. Just wanted to be sure it's for blood pressure. ##...

How are the 10mg oxycodone made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals compared to other brands? ## Hi Shizz, According to NIH, the 10mg oxycodone tablets (that are white, round, & scored, with "R" over "P") made by Rhodes, contain the equivalent of 9 mg of free base oxycodone. Ref: dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=a5162476-1217-41c0-bc7e-0a0f123f069f So in terms of potency, it apparently doesn't contain what a 10mg Rx label says it does, which is really corrupt marketing in my opinion… Especially towards those who are switching from another brand that may have more or less (unknowingly setting the stage for withdrawal symptoms from tapering). I suppose they think the extra milligram will come in the form of placebo. Next, in terms of inactive ingredient...

OVAL SHAPED WHITE PILL WITH LINE IN MIIDDLE ON ONE SIDE AND 12109 IMPRINTED ON THE OTHER ## I've tried looking for this several times, using different resources and I cannot find a listing for it. That means it is probably not a U.S. prescription medication. With such a marking, I have a very strong suspicion that is either something available over the counter or a foreign medication. What country was it found in?
