Have this in with several others- I think it is acetaminophen- white tablet, round, labeled 44-188 ## Hi Betty, To my knowledge this is more than likely an over the counter drug, seeing that many OTC meds in the US start with the numbers "44" followed by another set of digits. Unfortunately I haven't located an exact match, however the clues I'm finding here do lead me to believe that it falls in the realm of OTC cough, cold, pain or sleep meds, or motion sickness tablets. To find out whether this proves to be the case, I would encourage you to take the pill into your local pharmacy for more specific details as to what it might be.
