Small White Pill Gg332

2 Topics Found

These pills were prescribed for my wife. It says Levothyroxine 50mcg on the bottle label. It has sodium as well. We got it from walmart. ## The actual name of the medication is Levothyroxine Sodium, that doesn't mean it actually contains any significant amount of sodium, that just designates the specific chemical salt that the medication is derived from, you may see some other medication generic names followed by Hydrochloride, or Sulfate. This medication is used to treat thyroid disorders. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, mood changes, and hair loss. Is there anything else I can help with?

Please identify shape, color and ALL markings on Levothyroxin 50mcg Tab Mylan ## The 50mcg tablet manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals should be oval, white and have an M on one side and an L 5 on the other. Does this match the tablet in question? ## I have seen two different markings - one has the markings Verwon describes (pill from small, independant pharmacy; the second has 50 on one side and GG332 on the other (Wal-Mart pharmacy). Both are white and oblong. What is the difference? Do the two have identical chemical composition? ## does it matter if a dose is skipped? this is for my dad.
