Can this medication make your red blood cell count high? ## Lisinopril is what I'm on. I had to look up the side effects since I'm sensitive to medication. It's an ACE inhibitor. It can make you dizzy, headaches, increase your potassium levels (WebMD says don't take a potassium supplement if you're taking Lisinopril.) You can have abnormally low blood pressure, decreased blood platelets, decreased function of the bone marrow. Decreased neutrophils (a type of white blood cell), deficiency of granulocytes - a type of white blood cell. I'd suggest doing a Google search to see what you can find.
