Small Pink Round Pill "25 P"
The pill is a light pink, quite small and round. On ONE SIDE ONLY it has '25' above the divider line, and 'P' on the bottom of the divider line ## It's a white pill with an oval shape, and is inscripted with 'SZ' and '20' beside eachother on one side, like 'SZ 20' ## can anyone help me ID either of these? thanks! ## No, unfortunately, I can't find listings for either of these in our U.S. prescription drug resources. Where they found in the U.S. or elsewhere? I did find something listing the SZ 20 as being from Canada, is it possible that they are both from there? ## yes, I live in Canada. can't tell what this pill is ## The closest match I found to this has the imprint "SZ 210" rather than "SZ 200". Is there any possibility that the marking has been misread? SZ 210 is identified as being Losartan potassium (25 mg). This is a round pink pill, manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. Pill Marking Sz 210 Roud Pink Tablets Labeled Losartan 25mg
My Pharmacy switched my prescription from the green pills that are Oval shape to these pink pills that are round and are not as effective with the control of my high blood pressure. What am I taking because it is not Losartan as before. ## This tablet is listed by the U.S. FDA as containing 25mgs of Losartan, however, there can be some slight differences in generic medications. They do allow them to differ in the amount of the active ingredient by as much as plus or minus 20%, they consider this an acceptable therapeutic window and, for most people, it doesn't make a difference. However, if you are sensitive to medications, then any fluctuation could cause a problem. Have you tried asking the pharmacy if they can order the other one in for you?
