The reason for this is due to the fact that the colors actually don't mean anything, it is the markings on a tablet or capsule that enable it to be identified. If they wanted to, any given manufactured could toss the proper coloring agents into all of their pills to make them a mint green color, the could make them all round and as close to the same size as they could, there are no regulations preventing them from doing so.
