I found a tiny dark pink pill, smoorh coated with nothing on one side and a black 5 printed in the center on other side...anybody? Not scored ## Hi Rose, Based on your description, the closest match I located is a round "orange" pill with a 5 on one side (in black ink) and blank on the other. The entire pill also appears to be glossy/smooth coated. In any case, this particular pill is reportedly identified as a 5mg Bisacodyl tablet, used for the short-term treatment of constipation. For added verification, the manufacturer is listed as Major Pharma and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 00904-7927. I hope this helps!

Could they be an over the counter pill? It's pink and round with a line on one side and nothing on the other. ## Yes, they most likely are, Sugar Princess. The U.S. FDA requires all prescription tablets to have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Thus, if you find one without markings, it is logical to assume that it is some type of over the counter product. Although, there is a small chance that it might be a foreign medication. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Medium round pill blank on one side and a B on the other

Round pink or peach with no inscriptions and has a line on one side about the size of a valium. ## If there are no markings, it is most likely something that's available over the counter, since all manufactured prescription products in the U.S. are required to have unique imprints to enable their identification. The adventure now becomes trying to determine which one, since there are quite a few possibilities. Just as an example, I have a bottle of vitamin B12 supplements that meet this description, but I really can't say for sure that your pill is the same thing. Learn more B12 details here. What is your general location? That can sometimes help to narrow it down. ## Thank you. I was going crazy because sometimes I combine my supplements when almost empty and put with another p...

We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription drug, since they are all required by law to have some type of marking to enable their identification. However, there is a very good chance that it is something available over the counter, since they are not required to use imprints, nor log then with the FDA. There is also ...

Its alittle smaller then a dime.theres nothing else to descibe? ## Hi, Martha! How are you? If it has no markings, we can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription medication, because they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. Which means that it's most likely an over the counter product and that leaves it open to a very large number of possibilities. However, there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Where was it found? Does anyone have an idea of what this tablet may contain?

i work with two middle age women but one take certain pills and i found one light pink pill with a S on one side and blank on the other side...i will return it if she needs but otherwise i'll flush it down the toilet ## Have you tried asking her what it is? If this was in the U.S., I'd have to guess that it isn't a necessary medication, because this isn't the marking used on a prescription drug, but being from a different country, I can't be certain of that. I would think that just asking her if it's one of hers that she lost would settle the matter fairly quickly. Does anyone else recognize this?
