Pink pill oblong shape cut in half with markings of 48 on one side. Pill is oblong and pink but is cut in half and has numbers 48 on back and it's smooth on other side ## Hello, Justin! How are you? It might be an 800mg Metaxalone tablet that's manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, the full marking on it is E448. The FDA classifies it as a muscle relaxant and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. There may be other possible matches, as well. I'll keep looking and post back, if I find more. Does anyone else have any ideas of what this might be?

I was taking 2 white 5mg oxycodone IR tabs 2x/day but they were only partially useful in reducing my pain. My doctor reluctantly prescribed 2 pink 10 mg oxycodone IR (= 20mg) tabs every 12 hours. The number 048 is on these tabs. I have had them for three days now and I am taking them as prescribed, but they do not seem to work nearly as well as the former 5mg white tabs. Is this an issue that is simply in my head or is there a reason why taking 2 of the pink 10 mg tabs twice a day aren't working like I thought they would? Again, the number on the pink 10mg tabs reads 048. Thank anyone who has some substantive feedback to my question. ## Are you taking an otc Tylenol with the pink 10? Maybe if the 5mg you werr previously taking had Tylenol in it maybe that also helped with the Odin a...

This pill was in my bottle of metformin from the pharmacists.i only noticed because it was just a bit smaller than the metformin. What is it? ## I actually came across a half white and half pink oblong shaped pill imprinted "E648" that is identified as Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25 mg. You didn't mention pink being part of the color, but it's the only match that comes up under that description. Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00185-0648 I'd probably suggest taking it over to your local pharmacy to have them check it out if this doesn't sound like it fits the bill. Does anyone else recognize this tablet without the pink color?

dark pink pill oblong z 4890 or 4980 on one side ## Hello, Joker! How are you? Is the marking actually two triangles and 4980? If so, this is a medication that is no longer available, it contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 100mgs of Propoxyphene, it is a mild narcotic pain reliever that was removed from the market due to the fact that it was found to be cardiotoxic and cause an unusual number of overdose fatalities. I'm a 58 year old woman who had a total hysterectomy at 48 years of age, taking hormone replacement (estradiol cream) I started on Wellbutrin 150 mg., by Sandoz, (pink pill) and was on it for maybe 3 weeks. Did nothing for me. However, I seemed to be angrier and more emotional. Dr increased dosage to 200 SR which I've been taking for a week. Wellbutrin has been in my system for 1 month now and there has been some slight improvement not much. My dr mentioned she might include Effexor with it. Actually my Dr wanted me to take Effexor instead of Wellbutrin, but I preferred Wellbutrin because I was concerned about the weight gain. All I know is that I'm experiencing some of what I did not want on an antidepressant. Although I have not gained weight, I'm hungry, itchy at time...
