We are cleaning out my grandmothers house and came across some pills with no labels on them, it is a small pink oval pill with lines on both side one side is blank and the other has what looks like E on one side and 30 across from it Really would Like to know what they are !! ## Hi Erin, I believe I have identified your pill as Isosorbide mononitrate extended release (30 mg). It is classified as a red oval pill, and has the imprint E 30 (separated by a score line) on one side- and a score line on the back. Isosorbide mononitrate is a drug used principally in the treatment of angina pectoris and acts by dilating the blood vessels so as to reduce the blood pressure. Adverse reactions: Very common: Headache predominates (up to 30%) necessitating withdrawal of 2 to 3% of patients, but the i...

I have looked everywhere to identify this pill. It is real small with only a C on it. It has nothing on the other side ot it. My grandson found it after an Easter party. ## I located a pill that fits your description to the tee. This white oval pill with the marking "C" contains 200mg of Carbaglu (Carglumic acid). Inactive Ingredients in the pill include the following: microcrystalline cellulose sodium lauryl sulfate hypromelloses croscarmellose sodium silicon dioxide sodium stearyl fumarate Carglumic acid is used for the treatment of hyperammonaemia in patients with N-acetylglutamate synthase deficiency. More info about this medication can be viewed in the link below: Other than the little bit of information in that link, I haven't been able to locate a sufficient amount of...

My daughter found a pill in her book bag and we have no clue where it came from or what it is. I can't look it up because a little piece is missing. It is scored with a M on top. I can see the last two numbers are a 2 and a 8. This concerns me because she is 9 years old and I know she didn't have it, she brought it straight to me when she found it. Thankfully she was at home and this wasn't found at school! I am very careful with my grandmother's medicine and mine and we don't have anything like this but she goes to her Mama and Papa's house everyday after school, that is also where her dad lives so it concerns me!

I'm wondering if my pharmacy has given me the correct prescription. The pills are light orange, one side says 149, other side 93, oval in shape. The prescription is supposed to be for naproxen, 500mg ## its an ic napoxen 500mg - u have the right pills ## My grandmother passed a week ago and she was on alot of prescriptions and I found a pill that my little brother must have taken from her to get a buzz, it is oval and orange and has a 93 on the one side and a 149 on the other. I am hoping it wont hurt him if he has taken some before, can you help me? ## Hi Chris, welcome to our site. Your little brother made a bad grab for wanting to get high. This is indeed just Naproxen 500mgs, it is prescription strength though, so it is still illegal to have and use them without a prescription, ...

White pill with LI90 labeled on it, we are trying to figure out what type of pill this is. It was cut up into little tiny pieces in the pocket of my grandfather's pants. They smelled a little minty but we know that they are not mints. ## The reason it smelled minty is because it's actually a Nicotine lozenge, used for smoking cessation. It is a generic or store brand and that also explains the mint smell, because they are mint flavored. Are there any comments or questions?

found red/white capsule pills in son's bedroom. They were in a baggy. He has been acting a little different in the last month but we have put it down to age (18) and the stress of football training. He is a senior this year, starting wide receiver and corner. Please help. I am not sure where to turn, Q ## I found red and white capsules with no markings in my granddaughter's room. She is in outpatient care for depression and cutting. How do I find out what they are without turning her in to the counselors? ## @scared mom, Unfortunately, there's really no way to ID a pill without an imprint. All Rx and OTC drugs in the U.S. are required by law to have an imprint; otherwise it could be a vitamin, herbal, energy, diet, foreign or illicit. It is possible that the imprint could...

my grandmother had bought a little fake birds in a cage nick nack at a thrift store & it had a little drawer & obviously my 2 year old was interested in this & opened the drawer and inside was about a half of a pill & another little chunk. the pill is light yellow & is an oval shape. as far as I can tell there are no lines & one side is blank & the other has an S. probably had more letters or numbers but since I only have half I can't tell !! Checking the pill ID on other sites doesn't turn up any options & we are just so curious as to what this is & why someone would leave it in the drawer part of a nicknack. ## Hello, Chelsea! How are you? Without knowing the full imprint, it's really a guessing game. There is also a chance that it's...

my yorkie just ate my hormone replacement pill will this harm him, should i go to the vet? ## Wow, that's quite the story you have there. I actually found a similar story (posted below) after searching around that might help you feel a little more comfortable about what happened: "I am NOT a vet, nor do I have medical training, so my advice is in my experience ONLY. I still recommend calling your vet. When my GSD was young he ate an entire pack of my birth control pills. I contacted the emergency vet and they told me to monitor him for any symptoms of illness. He never got sick, and was fine. It did seem to make him more thirsty for a while, but he never got sick." Granted every dog is different, but I agree with my reference above, that you should contact your vet immediate...

Can someone please help me out... I'm 20 years old, also married with a 2 year old. I've been trying to get my 42 year old dad to stop his drug habit. Since I have been little he has been doing drugs...first pain pills...then 250 mg of methadone but going to the clinic & getting take homes also... Of course..... (he abused the methadone)...since then.... its been what ever he can get his hands on. I have a 2 year old and my 42 year old father still lives with my grandmother. He has overdosed OVER 3 times in the past 5 months. The last time he overdosed he died on my grandmothers floor. He "slept" over 10 hour's. My grandmother thought he was just sleeping it off like he normally did..... but then she notice he wasn't breathing right and she then calls 911 for...

My grandma got dark purple capsules and her nurse say their compound capsules hydrocodone 60 mg is there a such pill as such I'm scared a little bit because there's no markings and their dark purple capsules ## Hello! How are you and your grandma? Actually that does make sense, a compounded medication would not have any markings on it. There is no standard manufactured 60mg dosage available, so it would have to be specially ordered by her doctor and then created for her at a compounding pharmacy. They usually use unmarked capsules, because they are cheaper than those with logos or imprints on them. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anyth...

I have been taking oxycodone 30mg and hydrocodone 10/325 for a little over 7 years now because of a back injury. Everything has been Ok until I got my script this month, taking the 2 meds above have always worked ok on my pain and made it able to be awake and stay alert when I get to spend time with my little grandbabies even though we don't get to play that much because of my stupid back at least we get to spend time together!!!!! This last script though when I take my meds I'm wanting to pass out sleepy, no different company or pills. Why the change where I'm awake and can motivate and now want to pass out? ## Drowsiness can be a normal side effect of these medications, according to the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ...

Was just wondering how can I keep from getting sick to my stomach all the time when I take my meds. ## You might try packing your med's in food, eat a little, take pill, eat again, take pill etc.. I take Lisinopril at bedtime, along with couple other med's, and have no problem but I usually eat a little bit with it. You may be taking too many at once, divide them up. Chk with your Dr or Pharm. to get the best advice . Hope this helps. ## I have always had the same problem, and food is definitely the key- taking pain medications+empty stomach = ulcer. I've also found that if I take an Acid Reducer (Zantac, Prevacid, etc.) or at least a Rolaids or two with an energy/granola bar it helps tremendously. ## You can also ask your doctor, they can help by possibly prescribing an antina...

I've got a grandson that has been hurting around the stomach area and can't eat much. He has little appetite and nausea most of the time. He's had his gallbladder tested and a ct scan couldn't find anything. He throws up a lot. He is only 19, did weights but now lost 30 lbs in a month. He stays stressed out. He has aspergers and just met a girl 18 months ago. She has a stunt growth problem and tells him she can't marry him unless he has a really good job. He can't even drive due to having seizures that he has. Could all this come from stress knowing he can't get a job, no transportation? He doesn't do math. Would be a great History teacher but can't do that. He got a special diploma. Please help me find a diagnosis. ## Hello, Brian! How is your grands...

How little secondhand exposure to children is a problem? I watch my grandchildren once a week and they are all over me. I decided on that day or any day I'm going to be around them not to use androgel. ## Hello, Bob! How are you? Where are you applying it? Ideally, it should be on an area that would be covered with clothing, after its dry, when they are going to be around you. Have you discussed the problem with your doctor?

Urgent care gave my grand daughter tramdol for sickle cell pain and it is making her itch why ## Hello, Angie! How is your little angel? There are two possible reasons. The first is that she may be allergic to it. Is there any rash or hives visible? The other possibility is that it is an opioid and some of them cause itching as a side effect, in some people that take them. She may need to speak to her doctor about trying a different medication for the pain. It may take a few tries to find one that doesn't cause her such a problem. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

My mom gave me aspergum when I was little to soothe my sore throat. I wasn't able to share the relief with my children. So, start making it again for my Grandchildren. But in the mean time, I'm suffering with a sore thoat that would be controlled if aspergum were still available. ## I'm sorry, but this website does not manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications or products. It only provides people with information on them, so it is no way affiliated with Aspergum or those that used to make it. And the reason it was removed from the market was because of accidental poisonings of children, since it was a gum, many kids got a hold of it and would just chew tons of it, not knowing it was actually a medication. Thus, it is a product that the U.S. FDA will not ever allow bac...

My granddaughter been on this medicine for 4 months. She have loss almost all her hair, it is less than 1in. How can I help her I am not going to give her this medicine anymore. ## Hello, Madeline! How is that little lady doing? Yes, that can be a rare side effect of Adderall, because it can affect the blood flow to the scalp. She will most likely need to switch to a different medication. Has her pediatrician been consulted about this? Once a switch is made, her hair should grow back.
