hi, I was perscribed a pill at the vets office for my dog they say 2684 v and i was told its valium and they look exactly like.the ones the doctor perscribed for me are they?.........tim ## Hi Tim, Just to confirm what your vet said, a round blue pill marked with a "V" on one side and "2684" on the other side (sitting above a score line), reportedly contains 10mgs of Diazepam - otherwise known as Valium. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Qualitest; and this pill also carries a National Drug Code of 00603-3215. Did the vet give you proper dosing instructions for your dog? I don't know how animals react to these kinds of meds in comparison to humans, so I find it odd that they would prescribe your dog the same exact pills designed for human consumption. #... ...

Round Blue Morphine Pill

I found a pill with a N on one side and nothing on the other. Someone told me this was morphine. ???? ## The closest match I'm finding to your description happens to be Morphine (30mg), however, this pill appears redish in color with the number "30" imprinted on the other side: imageshack.us/photo/my-images/831/img0051t.jpg It could just be the camera lighting of the photo, but others have regarded this pill as being dark purple in color (perhaps quite similar to blue). In any case, please post back if this seems like a possible match. I hope this helps! ...

 Insoluble Prussian Blue
Prussian blue is a dark blue pigment with the idealized formula Fe7(CN)18. Another name for the color is Berlin blue or, in painting, Parisian blue. Turnbull's blue is the same substance, but is made from different reagents, and its slightly different color stems from different impurities. Prussian blue was one of the first synthetic pigments. It is employed as a very fine colloidal dispersion, as the compound itself is not soluble in water. It is famously complex,[1] owing to the presence of...

What kind of pill is this? Thanks. ## Lot numbers are internal numbers that are used by manufacturers to identify specific production runs of their products. In light of that, they do not actually identify any product or medication, because the some number could be used by several other companies. Thus, to identify one of their products, packaging, lot number, expiration and sometimes other details are required. Are there any markings on the tablets? That is what would enable us to identify them for you. ...
