I told my Doctor that i have trouble sleeping and i have anxiety depression as well as Major Depression and i asked for sleeping pills but she said that urbanol can be used to calm my nerves and then make me fall asleep , is this true because i have been awake for about 68 hours now and i drank my pills every night before i go to bed , so can it be used as a sleeping pill ?? ## Hello, Kobus! How are you doing? Yes, it can, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it may work for you to help you fall asleep. Not every medication works for every person that tries it. Have you contacted your doctor about it? You need to let her know that this one isn't working for you.

Help help help. The most sleep i get at night is an hour here or maybe two there. I take ambien but they only seem to help the first couple of days after i have them filled. I am so tired. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I'm getting desperate. ## What other things have you tried? Have you discussed it with your doctor, because there are other medications that can be used. You may also want to try staying away from any type of stimulants, in the evening, such as nicotine and caffeine. ## I'm the same way, I even did Ambien and it didnt work for me, try Lunesta i heard that will help a lot. Does anyone other than myself have trouble with sleeping too long when taking Buprenorphine? ## Hello, Allan! How are you? Do you mean it makes you more tired/fatigued so you sleep more than usual? If so, that isn't uncommon. Buprenorphine is classified as an opiate, by the FDA, and that is a common side effect of such drugs, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. After 10 years of taking Hydrocodone for Chronic lower back pain, doses increasing over the years, my new PM Doctor has started me on Morphine Sulfate 15 mg ER at bed time. Also take 5 each Norco 10-325 during the day. I was taking 6 each Norco 10-325 a day, but needed/wanted 8 or 10 a day. Wishing I had a pickup truck load of Norco 10-325. Loved the stuff, but 6 a day was not easing the pain any longer. I would run out every month a week early. Normally I would take a Xanax 1 mg, sometime 2, at night and knock right to sleep. Last night was the first time I took the Morphine Sulfate 15 mg ER at bed time. I Had to take 2 each Xanax and only slept 3 or 4 hours. If it's prescribed every four hours, how many times a day is it? ## If you take a dose first thing in the morning and then factor in 8 hours of sleep, that's 5 times in a day. Though technically every 4 hours covers 6 times in a 24 hour period. Using a simplified example: 8 am - wake up, take a dose 12 pm - take 2nd dose 4 pm - take 3rd dose 8 pm - take 4th dose 12 am - take 5th dose, go to sleep sleep until 8 am next day Of course the above is oversimplified. If you aren't sleeping through the night you might need a sixth dose in a 24 hour period. Something to work out with your doc. ## How many tablets are prescribed for how many days ? Can anyone advise on safe use of valium? I am taking it short term while waiting for my antidepressants to work but have gone through about 18 in 2 or 3 days. Hello doctor! I am a college student who just graduated. A few months ago, in December, last year I drank a bottle of corex in order to get a good nap because i was not being able to sleep as stressed about the exams. I drank it all and slept, but two hours later, i woke up and it was around 10 pm at night, I got so sick. I felt like i was being electrocuted and i was breathing rapidly and my BP must have been very high as I could feel my heart beating fast and so rapidly. I couldn't even talk properly. i took three doses of methadone to taper down from from opiates. day one: 25 mg, day two: 20 mg, day three: 15 mg it has been 50 hours since i have taken any methadone and dont plan on taking anymore. im feeling fine except not sleeping, so my main question is with the amount of methadone i have in me which at a 50% half life i should be at 7.5mg or less ... will it be safe to take .50mg of xanax to sleep? i just read a lot of bad things about this, my gut says the reason bad things happen are when people are abusing the two. I took 3 pills accidental because I read the label wrong. I'm so worried to even go to sleep ugh. Can anything happen to me? i am a 65 year old male has hyper tension and is also diabetic had a sever e stroke left sided haeme peresis 27 years back because of severe spasticity unable to have proper sleep feels drowsy during day time. I want to taqke some sedative(sleeping tablet 0 0which will give me sound sleep for three to four hours and is not habbit forming ## I needed one to put me back to sleep at 4 am when I wake up long before I want to. But I didn’t want to sleep too long because I needed to get up when everyone else does. Check out Sonata. I didn’t like it because it didn’t put me back to sleep, but I took the lowest dose. 2 mg I think.

This is an antischizophrenia drug, it also used for some people with mental illness that have trouble sleeping due to anxiety and racing thoughts, because it slows your mind down so you can relax and sleep. 1mg of this is, believe it or not, a very strong dosage, most people only need 0.25mgs for an effective dose. If you are not used to taking this, and are not schizophrenic, you will sleep for 18 to 24 hours straight through. If you suffer insomnia and take just a small peace of this pill, you will sleep for a good 6 to 8 hours.

I picked up my medicine and saw that it was a white capsule instead of the yellow so I called the pharmacy because I thought they made a mistake but they told me that the company that used to make them sold out and a new company was making them that is why they are a differant color.
