I do customer service and after 8 hours of listening to idiots scream at me; I usually go home eat watch spike tv and try to go to bed. Well, that does not work to well. So I Tried G-Monster. I took one serving; and some time after I was out like a light. It really worked.

Advertised on tv,sleep med starting with L,for long term use I think non narcotic, without side effects of others ## my son has a sleeping problem, he usually sleeps about midnight everyday coz he find it hard to sleep, do i need to take him to a doctor or can i jst buy some sleeping meds for him at the drugstore?OJF ## To the original poster, were you possibly referring to Lunesta? It is used for the short term treatment of insomnia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, sleep actions, odd taste in mouth, and hallucinations. Liza, it would be best to consult his doctor to discover the root of the problem. How old is he? Is he on any medications? Does he have any diagnosed medical disorders?

My Mom Maria just got a percription for headaches but she has several different issues with her health, thyroids ,diabeties to name a few but now her doctor percrider her IC BUTAL APAP CFF 325 mg.. last night she didn't sleep a wink..could the other meds be causing her more problems?? ## The reason your Mom didn't sleep was because her butalbital has caffeine in it....the Dr. can change it to one without the caffeine. I had the same problem and my doctor changed mine.

I take 1mg Clonazepam. 50mg trazodone for insomnia around 11pm.....10 mg singulair and 60 units Lantus at 9pm. This is pretty much my usual schedule. I've had around 5 or hrs of sleep this week. What maybe the problem? ## Hello, Dee! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. How long have you been taking these doses? You may have developed tolerance to them, if you've been on them for awhile. Alternatively, you may be more stressed than usual, or you may have changed something in your diet that is causing it. The Singular could also be a culprit. Have you changed the time you take it, or the dose recently? The FDA classifies Clonazepam as a benzodiazepine, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness,...

Everyone in my family has beautiful teeth, and my mother is already 94yrs. old with all of her teeth still. She has been on hundreds of med...

It should be made clear that triazolam and brotizolam have half life of only 1.5 hrs and are used primarily for inducing rapidly onset of sleep. I would be so grateful if someone could help me figure out why I'm sleepy all the time! I am taking opana 10mg 2x daily, with vicodan for breakthrough pain. I am 65 yrs old, female and also taking many other pills including paxil, lasix, simvastatin, insulin (type II diabetic) lisinopril, glipizide and potassium. I have been on several different pain meds such as fentanyl 50mcg/hr (it eventually made me feel like i was going crazy) buprenorphine, oxycodone which worked very well but I was dipping into that bottle a bit too often. Thanks for any help you can give. ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? Feeling sleepy is a very common thing with virtually all narcotic opiates, such as the Opana and Vicodin that you're taking. Can dormican be be used for isomnia? ## Dormicum contains the active ingredient Midazolam, which is a Benzodiazepine and yes it can cause drowsiness as a side effect, so it is sometimes used to treat insomnia. Learn more Dormicum details here. Has it been prescribed to you for insomnia? ## I start take 7.5 gm if dormicum it only work for me for one night now am up cannot fall a sleep after taking a second dose to night please tell me what can I do to sleep ## Yes I take Dormicum as well. "reference post July of 2015" The problem for me, as with in general all benzodiazepine meds, is I build up a tolerance rather quickly. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my neck, severe end stage arthritis in my right elbow and chronic ulner nerve pain in my right hand, I am on 240 mg of morphine and 2700mg of gabapentin a day, my problem is the sleepiness It causes me, I can hardly function on these meds which also cause me to sweat profusely causing me to change my clothes 2 or more times a day, what can I do to reduce the drowsiness? ## Hello, Del! How are you? Unfortunately, there really isn't much that can be done about either side effect, other than perhaps switching to a different medication. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation....

I am on Bystolic 10 mg and Benicar 40 mg. Is it better to take Bystolic in the morning or the Benicar. My bp is usually elevated when I wake up and seems that Bystolic was not controlling it in the morning so my MD suggested trying Benicar in am & Bystolic at night? ## For the best results, you should follow your doctor's instructions. However, it is normal for your blood pressure to elevate for awhile, when you first wake up. Its usually just due to it dropping while your sleeping, then you get a sudden spike, when you get up in the morning. That's generally not something to worry about, as long as the elevation is only temporary and it goes back down later. Many people see elevations every morning, if they check before they take their medications, too. When I first saw min...

For the past few months I've been taking CBD a few hours before bed and its been helping my insomnia significantly. They work really nicely for helping me fall asleep and stay asleep. In addition to helping with my sleep, its helped me with my anxiety. One of the best things I noticed about CBD compared to traditional sleeping meds is that I wake up not feeling groggy or drowsy. If you want to get off those strong and addictive sleeping pills I recommended trying CBD oil.

Can Urbanol be used as a sleeping tablet? ## Hello, Jade! How are you? Urbanol contains the active ingredient Clobazam, which is a benzodiazepine derivative and yes, they are sometimes used to treat sleep issues, since they can cause drowsiness and sedation as side effects. If my son does not get enough sleep it seems as though the concerta is more potient on him the next day? His eyes seems galssy and he seems out of it. Do any of you also have this issue? ## It makes sense to me that Concerta (a psychostimulant drug) is effecting his sleep patterns if he is taking it too much of it or having it too late in the day. Common side effects associated with this medication are: restlessness difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep nervousness Ref: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682188.html#side-effects Does your son take anything to help himself get a deeper sleep? Perhaps lavender oil or a natural sleep aid would be beneficial for avoiding certain effects from the medication.

Will someone, anyone please supply me with a name of a doctor here in Ft.Myers FL who does care enough to give a prescription for a sleep medicine for severe insomnia? Just moved here and cannot find a doctor as of yet. I have heard all of the terrible stories and read more here online, now more scared than I already was. Your help is very much appreciated. The medicine my Dr. had me on is unavailable here, or so I am told by a certain Dr. here. Thanks for listening and any information you provide.

Everyone reacts differently to medications. For me I've decided concerta is the best because this medication, though supposedly less hard on the body, doesn't let me sleep at all. I've always had a lot of trouble sleeping without adding meds to the mix and this trail was hell for me. I'm not an addict overdosing on the medication either. 40mg and I can't sleep, meaning after a week I'm so burn't out that the medicine doesn't even help because my mind and body are run into the ground. I didn't understand why so many people misuse any of these meds. You are putting yourself in danger of heart problems! I personally don't find any of these meds to be addicting nor do they do much more than help me to have the normal energy level of others. My focus i...

Talk to someone, please, the way you're thinking is not the answer. The tramadol with most likely cause you to seize and wind up a vegetable, I'm sure going you change your mind. ## Pray it will be ok, I just can't bear it after my husband passes, he's 82, terrible health, I just can't live without him, all I can do is see wha...
