SIDE EFFECTS ## I HAVE RETURNED MY PURCHASE OF AMBESLEEP BECAUSE IT DID NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT FOR ME..... I WAS ASKING IF IT EVER HAD DIARRHEA AFFECT ON ANYONE???? THANKS ## AmbeSleep is an over the counter supplement, so while they claim this is aids in sleep and has no side effects, neither one of these claims is actually proven and it is already well-known that some herbal supplements have just as many side effects as prescription drugs. AmbeSleep contains Valerian Root, Magnolia Bark, Melatonin, GABA, Lavender, Chamomile, Hops, Corydalis, Passion Flower, Magnesium, Vitamin B6 and Zinc. Supplements can also react adversely with other medications and cause problems with some health conditions, so you should not use this, without consulting your doctor. Green And White Capsule for sleeping ## Are there any markings on the capsule? That's what would enable it to be identified, the colors don't actually mean anything and there are many different products on the market, both over the counter and prescription, that are used as sleep aids.

Does anyone know what store makes this brand, it works GREAT & I can't remember where I got it... Thanks~ Sleepless in Georgia... ## Hi Sonya, Don't mean to disappoint, but based on my research there are no sleep aids being marketed by the name of "guardian nighttime sleep aid", "guardian sleep aid", or any other variation of those words. This is not to say that they don't exist, but if they do, they certainly aren't being marketed in a way that makes them easily accessible to the public eye. Do you recall whether it was some form of homeopathic remedy or something only available at health food stores? Any other specific details on the packaging/label might also help to narrow down our search... Thanks! ## Yes it's sold by Dollar Tree stores!! I b...

I take 800mg every night. Since a death in the family I am having much trouble sleeping. Can I take a prescription sleeping pill? ## Hi Nettie96, I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. You could certainly look into prescription sleeping aids. Below is a link that lists a number of commonly prescribed ones: Make sure you show your doctor which medications you plan on trying and he will be able to tell you which ones do or do not have an interaction with the Carbamazepine. Another alternative for a prescription sleeping aid is medical marijuana. Depending on which state you live in, you can get yourself a medical card for it. Personally I think it can replace any sleep medication and help you to take your mind off everyday troubles; but some people have personal views against using i...

Does anybody know any prescription strength sleep aids that are stronger than Melatonin? I have been using at least 10 mg Melatonin a night at bedtime for a few years but it isn’t working like it used to. Keep in mind this is when needed and I would talk to my doctor about this once I have a list related towards this. ## I am 89 and have used Ambien, 5 mg. dose for years, with no bad side effects. It gently brings on a sleepy feeling and usually lasts thru the night. A slight hazy feeling in the a.m. lasts for about an hour but that's all. Recommend that dosage. ## Melatonin is an OTC natural brain chemical, it supposed to have a calming effect. It's about as strong as Benadryl, if you know what I mean. There are many different sleep medications available, and some of the ...

What is the name of a small light blue sleeping pill shaped like an oval? ## Hi Christina, Are there any markings or imprints on this light blue pill you're describing? Zopiclone (7.5mg) is one sleeping pill I found that is oval and light blue with an engraving of "APO | 7.5" on one side and blank on the other. I also located an oblong shaped 25mg diphenhydramine tablet (bearing the letters SL on one side and blank on the other); used for insomnia. However there may be several other blue pills out there that fall under the category of sleep aids, so knowing a specific imprint can really help narrow down possibilities.

Someone in another thread here wrote that their father takes four 2mg Clonazepam to get to sleep. He's having problems because he is taking Amitriptyline at the same time. Well the answer is in the question. Don't take either. Clonazepam is not a hypnotic sleeper. Amitriptyline isn't either. The latter is just rubbish to get you out of surgery and Clonazepam is a strong Benzo that helps prevent seizures in Epilepsy. Halcyon is/was a great sleeping pill. Flurazepam and Flunitrazepam allowed in Sweden is another. Phenobarbital, Tunal, and Temazepam are not so good but are a hypnotic. I hope this helps anyone else who may be seeking alternative sleep aids. ## Amitripylene is a horrible drug! Was prescribed this because I had a bad reaction to gabipinton. I could not sleep the last two nights and wonder if there is a sleep aid safe to take with the metoprolol er succinate that I have been taking in the morning and evening, 25 mg pills. Been taking these b/p pills for months now. ## Hello, Peg! How are you? The main problem with them is that most sleep aids, such as Tylenol PM, Unisom and etc. use antihistamines, which may not always be safe for someone that has high blood pressure, because they can cause further elevations, according to the FDA. Thus, you should not take them, unless your doctor specifies that it is safe for you to do so. There may also be an issue if someone is overweight, since they may cause more weight gain. I have high blood pressure, as well, and suffered full congestive heart failure several years ago, and given t...

Can you take tuelonal pm for anxiety and sleep during detoxing suboconr ## Can you take Tylenol pm for anxiety and sleep while detoxing from suboxone ## Hi Teddy, From what I understand, neither Tylenol (Acetaminophen) nor Diphenhydramine (an anthistamine) act on opioid receptors or interact with suboxone in anyway. So personally I don't see how it could possibly interfere with suboxone being inside or outside of your system (during a detox) from a pharmacological point of view. However it would probably be a good idea to double check with your doctor anyways for that added peace of mind. Some alternative considerations that may also be worth looking into are, homeopathic sleep aids, melatonin, magnesium, various herbal preparations, ashwaghanda root, valerian root, white noise, med...

meds for calming; aids in sleeping ## It has been recommended that my son start using Trypolene for managing emotional thresholds. Before considering this option, I would like to know more about this drug, though I can not find information in the net about this drug. Does it have a different name? Could someone please point me in the right direction for research. ## This is a brand name for the medication Amitriptyline, which is an antidepressant, that is also used to treat insomnia, other mood disorders, and some forms of nerve pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

Pretty sure this is an OTC aids in sleep. Can't think of the name of the drug right off hand, but it's taken 20 minutes before going to bed for the night. I believe you only need one pill and it simply adds to what your brain already makes. Melatonin(?) maybe. ## This tablet actually contains 1mg of Ropinirole, the active ingredient in Requip, it is used to treat Restless Leg Syndrome and is a prescription medication. Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, hallucinations and sudden attacks of sleep, during the daytime. Learn more: Are there any other questions?

What can I take with acxion to help me sleep? ## Hi Chell, From your description, I get the sense that it may be a good idea to talk with your doctor about cutting down on your dose of Acxion (Phentermine) OR perhaps altering the time of the day that you take it in order to truly alleviate this problem that stems from taking it in the way that you have been. Some natural sleep aids that have worked for me include: Lavender essential oil, Chamomile tea, Ashwaganda root, and Cannabis (indica) / CBD's Does anyone else have some suggestions to add from your own experience? ## ALERTA !
