Slow FE Iron Salts

In chemistry, iron(III) refers to the element iron in its +3 oxidation state. In ionic compounds (salts), such an atom may occur as a separate cation (positive ion) denoted by Fe3+. The adjective ferric or the prefix ferri- is often used to specify such compounds — as in "ferric chloride" for iron(III) chloride, .mw-parser-output .template-chem2-su{display:inline-block;font-size:80%;line-height:1;vertical-align:-0.35em}.mw-parser-output .template-chem2-su>span{display:block}.mw-parser-...

My 44 year son taking this drug for bacterial bladder infection. Following completion of the med, his urine is dark & grainy & it's difficult to urinate. Might this be a side effect of the drug? ## Side effects of Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim can include a wide variety of different symptoms. You can see the list of them I posted below. I think you'll find that one or more of these symptoms could be exactly what he is experiencing: Fever, sore throat, and headache with a severe blistering, peeling, and red skin rash; the first sign of any skin rash, no matter how mild; pale skin, easy bruising or bleeding; cough, feeling short of breath; diarrhea that is watery or bloody; feeling restless or irritable, confusion, hallucinations, seizure; slow heart rate, weak pulse, se...

Hi. I suffered a brain injury 14 years ago and have since been through various meds to help control depression, anxiety and digestive issues. I ve been through several anti deppressant drugs like fluoxetine, zoloft, sertraline, citralopram and some others that i can't remember. I ve had adverse effects from all of them, my neurologist says it may not be direct depression but a chemical imbalance in my brain. My new gp said that as i ve had a bad reaction to the other mentioned pills that I should try propanalol 10mg 3 times daily to slow my heart down and therefore ease my anxiety. The 10mg propanalol gave me horrible nightmares and difficulty getting to sleep. I told the doctor and she proceeded to put me on 80mg slow release. I ve been taking them for 4 weeks, 1 daily in the morni...

Recently saw some ALL white (inside/out), CDN on one side, 80 on the other in Ontario, break up easily into powder. Has a slightly shiny coating. I believe these are China knock offs? Anyone have any ideas what is in these things? They do appear perfect...well made. The 8 is not bigger than the 0. The only thing that seems odd is there is a very small edge all the way around it...very small! Also the coating seems to have trapped some small powder dust under it...again you must look really close to notice. Looking at it in your hand...it looks identical to the green 80 CDN, only white! Any input would be appreciated...thx

65 yr old life long traveling salesman living in motels town after town in stranger and strange places and always have had insomnia. Started in early 80s taking placidyl if spelled correctly then switched in 2000 to halcion. Now over the counter and I get very little sleep. ## Hello, Vic! How are you? Are you a frequent flyer, or often crossing time zones? It is well know that doing so can cause insomnia in some people. Many people have good luck using Melatonin to help reset their internal clock and, as reported by the FDA, it is basically side effect free, though some people may experience a little nausea. It is, however, always best to check with your physician, before taking anything. What are you currently trying to treat it?

My family physician prescribed 80 mg of Viibryd every day. Was this safe? ## Hello, Penny! How are you? The target dose is usually anywhere from 20mgs to 40mgs a day, with it being slowly titrated up, however, there are some conditions that may warrant a higher dosage. What condition is being treated? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and weight changes.

I have a pill that is cream colored. No markings just a slit in the middle of it. Is this ibuprofen 800mg and codiene ## There is no tablet available in the U.S. that has 800mgs of Ibuprofen and Codeine. And any prescription medication manufactured for sale and use in the U.S. has to have markings to enable its identification. Where did this tablet come from?

AAre these real? ## I have these tablets also but don't know if they are real. ## There are not the legal U.S. Oxycontin product manufactured by Purdue Pharma. Those are all round tablets, the old ones had a marking of OC on one side and the number designating the dosage on the other side, while the new formulation replaces the OC with the letters OP. Where were these found/obtained? I phoned Remtyme last eveing and placed an otder (2 bottles plus one free). I was told it would take up three weeks to receive the order. Identify a round white pill with imprint 832 8020 ## small white pill with # 832 over a slit over # 8020 ## After some searching around I think that you may have accidentally misread the imprint. There is a round white pill which matches your description except for a couple of letters. It has 832 with a score line over BC20, so I am thinking that the BC part of the print was mixed up for 80. On a white pill such as this it can easily happen. Anyways, what I am describing is Baclofen 20 mg (a muscle relaxer) manufactured by Upsher-smith Labs. The NDC code is 0832-1025 and you can verify with a picture. Hope this helps! ## Just wondering n very concerned about the round white pill I looked up n it's # 832 / BC 20 just woman know more what taking 2 of them could do 2 u?

My bp was always high. DR prescribed eritel ch80. Bp seems to be in control but I have major side effect. Whenever I stand up from sitting or sleeping I feel major weakness and seem to fall. I need to rest for a min and then I can start. And this happens everytime I stand. Sometimes I feel I am going to collapse. is this normal with this medicine. Earlier I used to have other versions of eritel and same thing used to happen but this eritel ch80 is the strongest when it comes to short term weakness. ## HI, Arun! Just started on this prescription for a urinary infection after being pulled off of Cipro which gave me headaches and made sleep difficult. Is Sulphamethox similar to Cipro when it comes to avoiding calcium (milk/dairy products) 2 hours before and 6 hours after taking it? I was told that eating or drinking calcium rich foods diminished the effects and needed to know if this applied to Sulphamethox as well. Thanks ## Hello, Kevin! How are you? Since this is a different type of antibiotic, dairy products do not affect its absorption. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
