blue gel capsule P50 ## I found a small oval blue - gel capsule with P50 in white letters written on it. Can anyone tell me what this pill is used for. Thank you for any insight you may have. Concerned mom. ## A speculates that it may be an Ibuprofen (with image) but there is not yet a definite answer. ## Correction - this has been identified as Wal-Som 50 mg, sold as an OTC sleep aid by Walgreen's. why is it that when i take sertraline i can sleep and feel very scared of everything especially people ## You can or can't sleep? Sertraline, the active ingredient in Zoloft, is a SSRI antidepressant and, unfortunately, in some people its affect on this brain chemical can have the opposite effect of what is desired. This probably means that it just isn't the right medication for you. Have you contacted your doctor about trying something else?

Actually I believe they are JetAsleep brand sleeping pills with acetaminophen (350mg) and diphenhydramine(50mg). They are made by the same company as JetAwake, so the previous commenter was understandably mistaken by thinking that these also contain caffeine. ## Based on the inscription of TCL 350 and the color blue, it appears to be an over the counter allergy tablet containing Diphenhydramine 50 mg (NDC 42507-066 among others). This tablet is manufactured by Contract Pharmacal Corp and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, it is a generic or store brand of Tylenol PM. That said, one should be enough, since the Acetaminophen augments the action of the Diphenhydramine. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Does anyone else know what this is? ## From what you're describing it sounds like the Advance Pharmaceutical logo on one side, which is actually a small p in side a larger A (which does look like a V). There like sleep in tablets and have a real quick affect to hit you but ware off in like 20 -30 mins gives you legs that feel like jelly I just took 2 and its not much affect off them at all ## A got 5000 and the packet they were in said not for human consumption and they are pellets. It is used as a sleep aid as well, and Alcohol will amplify the effects of it. While taking the recommended dose (25-50mg), you'll just get buzzed quicker and fall asleep faster. ## It's not good for your liver to drink on them
