Pink oblong metalox ## I have leftovers from about a year ago. Are they still effective or should i get rid of them? I was told that they are still good but they just lose their potency. ## Skelaxin contains the active ingredient Metaxalone, this is a muscle relaxant. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. Lorraine, that is correct, they are not dangerous, but can lose some of their efficacy over time. This causes some people to use more than they should, which is why you are told to throw away old medications. Are there any other questions? ## Is it ok to take ibuprophen along with skelaxin?

I have been diagnosed with stenosis. Walking becomes painful but is recommended for exercise. How can I exercise pain free? ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? While it may be painful, for awhile, as your body gets used to the exercise, it should gradually improve. Anyone that isn't used to exercising, will experience some pain, when they first start and, with your condition, this will obviously be worse for you, but the only that can really help is perseverance. Has your doctor prescribed Skelaxin? It contains the active ingredient Metaxalone and is a muscle relaxant, its side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and weight changes. Learn more:

How has Skelaxin affected any one out there? ## I have taken this med before & could never feel any difference. Isnt it a muscel relaxer? ## what kind of overhe counter med. can you take for RA anything to stop the pain ## Well, Kari, I know some people swear by over the counter medications, such as anti-inflammatories, like Ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) or Acetaminophen (Tylenol), as well as some herbal remedies. The main concern here, of course, is that you have to be careful how much you take, due to the possibility of overdosage, which can result in severe organ damage or even death. So, if you are going to try them, please be careful to stay within the recommended dosages and also, make sure they don't interact with any other medications you may be taking.
