I have been taking simvastin 20mg for over a year now and it has always been an eliptical tablet with the number 20 impressed.I have just received my latest prescibed tabs and they are small round tabs wit CT impessed. They both say Simvastatin 20mg film coated tabs... are they the same? There is such a drastic change in size and shape. ## I was geting small round tablets since one year. Just now I got almost eliptical shape 20mg tablet. I am little confused with shape change. ## Hi could you tell me if there is any difference in Simvastatin by the colours, as my mum say's when she has the white one's she get's muscle pains in her legs....but when she takes the orange one's she is ok. peach or light tan color with a #02 on one side and a A on the other supposed to be a simvastin ## That is correct, this tablet is distributed by NorthStar RX and they list it as containing 20mgs of Simvastatin, which is most commonly used to help lower cholesterol. NDC code: 16714-0683 The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches.
