Hello my names Nathaniel, I'm 17 weighing 123 at 6'1, I'm going into national guard and I've tried everything, weigh protein, but never tried pills or any other substance, I eat right and everything just I can't gain no weight. I need to weigh 144 before I can sign those papers. Please tell me what I can do. ## Hi Nathaniel, Based on your description it does sound like you may be below the average weight for someone of your stature. Although I'm not completely familiar with a specific type of weight-gaining drug, there are options out there that can help stimulate your appetite significantly, such as cannabis. However, some people are just naturally skinny due to their genetic makeup and metabolism, so it's possible that simply increasing your caloric intake ...

For the past few months I've been taking CBD a few hours before bed and its been helping my insomnia significantly. They work really nicely for helping me fall asleep and stay asleep. In addition to helping with my sleep, its helped me with my anxiety. One of the best things I noticed about CBD compared to traditional sleeping meds is that I wake up not feeling groggy or drowsy. If you want to get off those strong and addictive sleeping pills I recommended trying CBD oil.

If you take Brilinta twice a day like 90 or 60 mg tablets, keep out of the higher elevations like 6500' and up. Had an episode where I was at 10,000' in a hotel in Colorado and it about killed me. No sleep was possible when every 30-45 secs you would start gasping for air. I had to go to the local medical center and was put on oxygen and was able to sleep. When they checked me out I headed straight toward Denver and the heavier air. The lack of oxygen put me into near panic modes, my brain was signaling distress and confusion was rampant. The previous year I was at the same hotel without any issue and was not on Brilinta. When the hospital checked me in my BP was in the 150s and heart rate was in the upper 80s. It's pretty scary when you deplete the body of oxygen, I felt ha...

Due to some mild anxiety and low level depression I was put on Viibryd two months ago to supplement the Wellbutrin 150mg I had been taking for a few years. I titrated up as scheduled from 10-20-40mg. Over the past six weeks my levels of stress and anxiety have climbed thru the roof, sleep has been awful, and sense of self-worth and usefulness has plummeted to levels I never felt before. Worst of all is a sense of depersonalization and complete loss of identity--it is very unsettling. I'm now down to 20mg and it's helping but as of today my doc has had me quit Viibryd altogether...substitute Zoloft whcih has worked for me in the past). Folks, I know that each of us have different reactions to various meds, but please watch for theses signs once you start on viibryd. ## Thanks for...

I was told today, taking 2 Tylenol and 2 ibuprofen is equivelant to taking morphine for pain! Is there any truth to that? ## Hello, Keith! How are you? No, that is not accurate. Alternating the two, say by taking Tylenol in the morning, then Ibuprofen 8 hours later can sometimes result in better pain relief, because it can help reduce swelling more significantly that just taking one or the other, but it will not be anywhere close to Morphine and doubling up on them, at the same time, could be dangerous, due to the toxic effects they may have on the liver. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I need to know for a 15 yr old weighing 126lbs, is it safe for her to take two Tylenol 500mg and two Ibuprofen 200mg, which is a total of 1,400 mg at once? ## Is it safe to take Ibuprofen and ...

what is the real expiration on percocets ## From what I've heard, most pharmacies put an expiration date of about a year on certain pain medications such as Percocet, although I'm sure this estimate can vary. There's other posts online about individuals taking expired Percocet and claiming that it's just not nearly as potent as it was before, but they confirmed that it did not harm them as far as they could tell. You may have to be your own best judge if you are taking expired medication. I do agree that certain drugs are actually okay to take after expiration, whereas others such as antibiotics can become toxic; but nothing lasts forever without expressing signs of degeneration. The only real way to know how long a drug can maintain it's potency after expiration, wo...

I am trying to conceive. doctor prescribed me ovashield capsules. but somehow I forgot to have the capsule for 17th day. now on 18th what shall I do? shall I have the capsule for 18th day or 17th day? does missing capsule affect negatively in any way. ## Hi zedgal, In many cases, when you miss a dose, the instructions state that you should pick up from where you left off by taking it at the next dosing interval (so as to keep you on your original schedule). However when it comes to these types of medications that help improve female fertility, I don't think the repercussions of missing a dose are really that significant in the long run. Although I'm sure it does take away from the overall efficacy of the drug itself. How long are you supposed to be taking it before noticing poss...

Hi, I am taking 500 mg/2x daily of Divalproex Sod ER (Depakote) for Bipolar 1. It works very well. However, my ALT is 76 and my AST is 59. I am not sure that these higher than normal liver enzyme test results are bad enough to require me to stop taking Depakote. I know there is a wide range of abnormalty. Has anyone had experience with liver enzyme problems? Please, share your experience. Please, don't tell me to ask my doctor. He is a bit unsure of all of this---wishy-washy. ## many doctors that aren't specialists can be confused by such. How long have you been taking the Depakote? The signs that it may cause acute liver injury can manifest like this within the first 6 months of taking it. Thus, if you've been on it 6 months or less, you will most likely need to stop taking...

around 50 days passed no periods my age is 38 this is the first time happened. i need periods on time i need pregancy give me advice. if periods is stopped is it can happen side effect or some problem what precaution [ls give me advice ## Hello! How are you doing? I understand your concern, most of us ladies get nervous and worried, when we experience menstrual irregularities. However, it could just be due to your age. Such aging symptoms that are known as perimenopause can start as young as age 35. They are basically the signs of your body starting to slow down for awhile, until you hit around age 50 or so and stop ovulating altogether. Menstrual irregularities are one of the earliest signs of it and likely means that there may be some months in which you aren't ovulating. Has anyt...

I am a chronic pain patient and.like many of us, OUT of meds. I cannot fill my prescriptions each month. I have switched to dialudid and those don't work very well. I found an online service that would fill my script, signed up and they have been closed down before I got my 1st shipment. This is HELLISH. I HATE being on Roxi's, but its better than the alternative which is the crippling pain . Has ANYONE in the Palm Beach County area found a place to fill a prescription for Roxi's?!?!? Please help and God Bless... ## Unfortunately, it seems like most people in your area are still having as much trouble getting them, as you are. Have you tried any other alternative medications, such as Morphine? It's available in the same formulations as the Oxycodone, a time released, reg...

I had a total hysterectomy in 2000 at 44 years old. My GYN did not prescribe Premarin until the signs of menopause were apparent. I've been on Premarin for 6 years. Though it worked very well to keep the night sweats and mood swings at bay, it's become INCREASINGLY expensive. My doctor provided me with options such as a patch (something called Vi Vance, I think.) Horrible...I was on the phone, begging for the Premarin. Well, 3 mos. ago I went in for my check up and he gave me samples of Elestrin. It has worked so well for me. Not only are my night sweats and mood swings kept at bay, but at age 57 my libido has truly come alive again, as if I was a 20 something! For those of you looking for an alternative to the very expensive Premarin, ask you doctor about Elestrin. ## Hi, Mallo...

can you help me is this a soma a blank white circle pill with a plus sign on other side? ## Without a number embossed on the pill it would be impossible to tell although highly doubtful that you have a soma. Lick it, is it bitter? ## Melatonin natural sleep aid none of them have numbers. ## Of course, if it has a + on it I'm thinking Bayer Asprin ## Mine has a number 10 on one side ## Of course #10! It could be Cyanide, it could be Vitamin C. You are not planning on putting that in your mouth I would hope?

How are you? Currently there isn't, due to the fact that it is available as a generic, which is normally cheaper. I've had my jadelle in for 11 months and no period, all of a sudden I have a 3 day period is that possible ## Me too! I've had mine for 13 months with ZERO sign of a period and all of a sudden I'm on! Really worried it could be something to do with pregnancy but I can't find any info on this situation... Although my GP did say that if you get a period on Jadelle when you wouldn't normally and you have been intimately active with a new partner, you should get an STI check as it can be a symptom for a number of things. Best of luck hun I hope everything is okay for both of us! Any more info would be hugely appreciated! ## That can be a normal occurrence with hormonal contraceptives, such as this. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache...

what are the significance of 'the effect of government hospitals in addressing the health needs of the people'. ## The significance of the effect of government hospitals in addressing the health needs of people, is actually quite significant. Although I'm sure every country is different, here in the U.S., they play a crucial role in cases of emergencies and urgent care, as well as in many other areas. I'm certain that a lot more goes on beyond what patients see when they walk in the building. Are you currently experiencing any problems at your local hospitals? I only wonder because it is an interesting question that you brought to our attention.

1500 per day and is showing regular signs of hair loss ## Hair loss is actually reported to be a common side effect of Depakote (Valproic Acid). Referenced from: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000677/#a682412-sideEffects Generally, this type of side effect won't go away until the medication is completely out of your system. But if you haven't already done so, I would suggest talking to your doctor about any other alternative treatment options that can replace Depakote. I hope this helps!

My son was on this hideous drug.. although he’s a breathing improved significantly the side effects have been dreadful. Including significant weight loss Blurred vision severe back pain sadness and depression. The latter being the catalyst for throwing this medication out. A week off he drug has seen a massive turn around in him. He is a 23 year old very fit and healthy young man and has never ever suffered with depression issues. It should be mandatory that these warnings are on the box and doctors should also be warning patients of these possible side effects. I only looked into the side effects after he said he lost 6kg.. not enough about sadness and depression is said about this drug ## I am very sorry about what your son has dealt with, I understand how upsetting that can be....

what are side effects when taking donepezil? ## My wife is 93 and suffered a stroke three years ago that left her with significant vascular dementia symptoms. She had already been diagnosed with early altzheimer three of four years earlier but had been able to function fairly well in daily tasks and our relationship was reasonable in most respects. Following her stroke, she had little coherent memory of our life together, not able to identify her three daughters or even me frequently, not recognizing the house we have lived in for 20 years, etc. She did not recognize family members in picture, misidentified her daughters as her sister, did not recall that her parents and older sister having passed away years earlier. Hello, this thread will help many people. It is designated to provide addicts information concerning where they can get prescribed Subutex (Buprenorphine) instead of Suboxone. Let's face it, Naloxone can cause problems. Subutex is significantly cheaper and is an effective alternative for people who cannot tolerate Suboxone - for whatever reason. I will provide the names of a few Physicians/Places that I am certain are compassionate towards those sensitive to Naloxone. However, let's build this thread: help one another by providing potentially life-saving information. If I see that others' are contributing, I will keep submitting information as I find it and I will keep digging for the sake of those in desperate conditions.
