My husband and I are in Spain, so there is a language barrier with the doctor I saw 2 days ago. I was diagnosed with GERD and prescribed Spasmoctyl 40 2 or 3 times a day and also Omeprazol 20mg - 1 every 12 hours. I have been having shortness of breath and diarrhea since I started taking these drugs. Is this common? I also have a loss of appetite. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. ## Hello, Judy! I have been taking Nora_Be 0.35mg tabs for over year to decrease heavy bleeding during pre menopausal symptoms. It has workded, however for the past 10-12 months I have experienced terrible muscle spasms and tight contracted muscles in my legs and hips. At times it is extrememly difficult and painful to walk. I have tried numerous PT. and yoga to alleviate this with minimal success. I have decided to stop taking any oral medication to rule out this as a possible cause. Anyone else experience this as a possible side effect? ## I suggest speaking with your doctor, it could be a complication caused by the medication, but it is also possible that it is caused by something else entirely.

I am using asthalin 4 mg for the past 10 years when there is need for that (i.e. whenever i am suffering from wheezing problem). For the past 2 weeks i am taking the asthalin. I took Trazodone 50 for only 4 days. Doc and pharmacist said not to take it with my Trepaline. Stopped Trepaine cold turkey after 10 years.Trazodine was for pain relief for FM. Without Trepaline my muscle spasms went into overdrive. Worse pain than before! My whole pain protocol was stuffed. I have been taking Daliresp for a year now. I'm having terrible headaches, tremendous, bad back pain and more.. I'm going to try to get of this medications to see if this is whats causing all. How good does Baclofen work? Does it have any side effects? ## Does anyone take this drug for trigminal neurolgia. I take gabapentin, 400mg (2 x3times a day). I am really suffering, so dr suggested taking baclofen (pacifen) as well. Anyone have any comments? ## Well Baclofen is a muscle relaxant, so it does help if part of your pain is caused by muscle aches, sprains, or spasms. the only way to really know it to try it for a few weeks and see if helps you. As to the Gabapentin, some people get great results from it and some don't, it really only works for certain types of nerve pain, so it does not help everyone and it is not a pain reliever. I suggest speaking to your doctor about it as if you have been on it for awhile with no luck, then it is time to switch and try something else...
