I gave the wrong dosage of the hidrasec racedotril to my 11 month old baby. I mix halfthe sachet as I followed the instruction and it says to be taken three times a day but I let my daughter drink it 1 time only. During the night, she kept waking up and she was crying. I wonder what are the side effects of taking overdosage of of this medicine. ## First off, I would like to state that in the future, if you feel you have a medical emergency, please do not post on a free website and ask for guidance. That said, an overdose of anything could cause organ damage or even be fatal. This medication is normally used to treat diarr...

I have been experiencing abnormal bleeding and my doctor prescribed me Norethisterone for 21 days starting 21 March. The dosage indicated 2 tablets 2 times a day for 21 days. However, I don't know why I heard the pharmacist as saying 1 tablet 2 times a day. So from 21 March till just now, I have been taking 1 tablet each time. I only just realized my blunder earlier on when taking my 2nd dose of the day (to which I took 2 tablets upon realizing my mistake). Will this affect my treatment? I should just continue to take the correct dosage until I finish the medication? ## Have you consulted your doctor? You might need to have them prescribe more tablets for you to resolve the issue. Are you still bleeding? The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness,...

I have just been given Methylin as a generic for Ritalin. I have taken other generic forms of Ritalin. All others have been called Methylphenidate and have all responded as anticipated. Methylin has been very different. It has made me sleepy, not alert at all and most importantly has significantly lowered my blood pressure while raising my pulse. My last dosage lowered my bp to 63/46, pulse 96. I stopped the medication. Are there any others with similar effects while taking this medication? ## Tell your doctor and pharmacist that this generic doesn't work for you. There is no way that they can force you to take a generic that doesn't work I am not a doctor but all I see is it is the same drug just generic. Different brand. I may be wrong, but ask, I can't see you taking some...

What is the dosage for omeprazole 20mg bcos my doctor told me 1cap twice daily is he right or wrongd ## It actually depends on the condition being treated and the severity. Pink oval antidepressant ## I recently received a refill from my mail order pharmacy for Citalopram HBR tablets, 20 mg. The first prescription I had were pink oval tablets, but this next one was round white tablets, the size of a 325mg bayer aspirin. Embossed on the tablet, from what I can make out is, WP1 3177. I was beginning to think they gave me the wrong pills again because spasms are worse than what they usually are with the others they used to give me ## I think the reason that some people have had trouble identifying this one is due to the fact that it's very easy to misread the markings on the pills. I've been on 20mg Citalopram for almost 6 weeks now and don't feel any better, of anything I'm more depressed and anxious than I was before. My GP has talked about increasing the dose but I don't know wether it's the Citalopram, making me worse or if the dosage isn't strong enough. Any thoughts plaeas? ## Too many physicians don't take side effects seriously, and rather than stopping the antidepressant, increase the dose. A major side effect of all antidepressants is a deeper depression. Although I'm a layman, I've been through enough therapy and antidepressants to know that what your doctor is doing is wrong. For one thing, psychiatrists should be prescribing antidepressants, not general practitioners. My advice is not to increase the dose and to see...
