I am a 62 year old man. Been on Valium for a decade, and now I have a growth in my left breast. Dr said that the Valium is the cause. The pain is unbelievable. Get off the Valium now. The FDA does list this medication as possibly causing gynecomastia as a side effect, which is a condition where men grow breasts similar to those of a female, however, it is not usually painful! It can occur in one, or both breasts and may occasionally cause some nipple discharge, but pain is not a normal symptom. If you have a growth in one breast that is painful, it sounds more like it may be a cyst. Did you doctor have any scans done to check?

I was prescribed valium to help relax before my dental treatment. I was given 5mg the day before the procedure and 5mg 1hour before procedure. The pills were taken 12 hours apart. I developed severe side effects, basically attibuted to valium. It has been 5 days to the date and still feel dizzy, tired, shaky. How long will it take before the symptoms go away. I am having severe anxiety. The doctor advised me to take Lamez 100mg twice a day. I was good for one year but now it started again. Now he prescribed me Etizolam for anxiety. I hope etizolam will help, as I will start from tomorrow. ## Just wondering where you were able to get Etizolam prescribed. Are you in UK, Europe, Japan? I am taking Intuniv as prescribed by my neurologist. I had an mri yesterday and was prescribed Valium .5mg. Why am I feeling so lathargic today? ## It may be from the Valium, if you aren't used to taking it. It is a Benzodiazepine and it can cause side effects, such as lethargy and drowsiness. I've been taking lyrica 75mg 3x day which was prescribed by my physiatrist concurrently w/ Cymbalta 30mg. Great combination for me. They seem to work together. Lyrica relieved me ot debilitating neuropathic pain, burning & tingling, in feet, calves, sacroiliac, and intense aches in shins, thighs, head & neck, all associated w spinal stenosis, lumbar & cervical (neck). white small R 35 Valium ## This is not Valium, this tablet contains 2mgs of Clonazepam, a generic for Klonopin, a different Benzodiazepine, used to treat similar conditions. I have blue pills that are speckled with white and are believed to be valium. They say 10 on one side and a line to split in half on the other side. On the packaging they came in it says manodiazo. I have taken some and had no effects but my partner seems ill today after taking some. Please help. Many thanks. Mano 10 = Diazepam 10mg, made Thailand, a decent generic. yellow pill round---273 on one side -- 5 on the other ----- scored in the middle on the # 5 side ## This actually contains 0.5mgs of Clonazepam, a generic for Klonopin.
