my boyfriends complaining after taking large dosages prescribed by doctors for sleep that he feels loss of sight, blurred vision. he was wondering if this is long term. even when he stops taking it will the blurred vision go away as well. or is the blurred vision due to the side effect of drowsiness, do any of these side affects last after you are no longer taking the drug? thanx ## How high of a dose is he taking? tripoline was prescribeb for headaches that occurred in my sleep from midnight onwards added that I should stop using any painkillers.It did work for about a month but the headaches have returned and the use of tripoline now causes heavy drowsiness the following day ## Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant. I have just been prescribed AT for my chronic tension type headaches and currently take Cerezzete birth control pill. Does anyone know if the AT counteract the Cerezette? I can't seem to find any info about this on the internet and didn't want to bother my Doctor again.
