My son has been on Zyrtec for a while now and seems to stay agitated most of the time. When I asked the dr. about this I was told there were no side effects so we decided his mood changes were due to being a teenager. A few weeks ago a friend of mine said her child was coming off of the Zyrtec because since being on it he had become so mean she couldn't stand it. This really concerns me and I would like to know if there is anything else we should try. ## Agitation is absolutely a possible side effect. It is not one of the most common ones but it is one along with confusion. Check it out on this website. ## Hey, Verwon...did you see how nicely I was able to cut and paste the above-mentioned website? I actually did it all by myself! I am so proud! ## YEAH! CLAP CLAP CLAP! I am having sensitivity (pain)in my right breast area since taking this drug for one month i take it every other morning also developed a cough ## I am also on losarton and now I have this hacking cough. But not to worry my doctor just emailed me that there is no chance that this medicine could cause my cough and if I wanted to go off it that would be fine and let her know how it turns out. It is always nice when you find that your doctor would rather be right than listening to her patient and offering harmful advice. I really have no choice but to go off the medicine just so I can stop the hacking, it has gotten so bad I am not sleeping. Good luck. ## Losartan can definitely cause that cough, it does happen to quite a few people that take it and that side effect will not wear off, so i...

I have very painful legs when in bed. It's so painful that I'm not able to sleep. I've been taking this med for four weeks now. Is this a common problem when taking Lercanidipine? Thanks. ## Hello, Sally! How are you? If it's only while you're in bed, then it may be due to Restless Leg Syndrome, rather than the medication. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Are you on any other medications? Does the pain ease, if you move your legs, or get up and walk around? ## Yes it is. I had a ‘holiday’ from this medication for a while and the leg pains disappeared. On resuming the medication they came back again. I agree they are not very nice pains.

I've been taking oxycontin 10mg for 2 years for chronic nerve pain after back surgery. I've gotten a few different kinds from different manufacturer's. I noticed that a couple of months ago that they didn't seem to be working. More pain, along with some pretty awful withdrawal-like symptoms. Also, they were coming out exactly the same as they went in. (not sure how to put THAT nicely-sorry!) After I did some checking, I found that the manufacturer was different. I did some research, and even contacted the company and sent some back, but they said they were OK. Yeah, right!! My next RX I got the old brand that HAD worked the months before. Now that manufacturer is not making them anymore, so now I'm taking another one. (They are all generic.) Well, it's happening ...

I think the question you should ask yourself is: What goal is so great that you would want to risk having a lifetime of side effects for a moment of obtaining a nice physique or performance? At age 19 you haven't even finished fully developing as a person, let alone muscles. I've been on Effexor for 11-12yrs for anxiety & myoclonus til less than 1 week ago I changed to pristiq, due to the horrible disabling side effects of Effexor (for 3 wks) if I miss 1 tablet. Pristiq has the same metaboliser as Effexor but diff main ingredient. So I had no noticeable side effects jumping from Effexor to pristiq except shortness of breath and tight chest. Which mind you is not nice. And documents state I should tell my doc straight away. Well it's Easter weekend and he's not in so I'm just hanging on til tomorrow, til he's in again. I hope I just live with all the other stuff like the constant over sweating, no Lobido, constipation.

I was prescribed 60mg Morphine ER twice a day with 10mg norco up to 6 tablets a day for 2.5 years. I always took it as prescribed never asked for early prescriptions. A few months ago my rheumatologist sent me to a pain dr for management because he said I am too young (35) to be on this many narcotics. The new dr is super nice and you can tell he wants to medicate me to manage my pain but has changed my medication around all over the place to doses that are too low or medications that don't work or cause side effects. I was managed on the morphine and norco and told him I didn't need him to change anything but to just give me a new rx. Because of the DEA and FDA he wanted to see if there were medications that would help that aren't as controlled by the DEA. Because of the ag...

I was taking Ranbaxy for almost 3 years and was just fine. No anxiety and no side effects. Then about a month and a half ago I started getting anxiety. Found out CVS changed to Mylan brand. I found I could get one more month's supply of Ranbaxy but at the two mg strength. Was a problem with dosage amount because I had to quarter the tablets. They cut in half nicely but the quartering was always unequal. I read this board and knew to stay away from Mylan, Watson and Santos (sp?) So I called around to the mom and pop pharmacies and found one that carried Excellium. I had read very little about Excellium on the forum but the pharmacist said he had been selling it for 10 years and never had a complaint. Scared to death, I transferred my two remaining refills to this place. I've been...

Chantix does work--But it would be nice if someone had told me the terrible side effects that can happen. Side effects that a person must live with for the rest of their lives. RLS is a terrible side effect that does NOT go away after you stop taking Chantix. It effects every moment of of your life waking and sleeping! I'm not saying no one should use Chantix but if I had known the serious side effects that can be life altering I don't think I would have taken that risk. It is my 3rd day with no sleep due to RLS. I lost my job of 20 years, because I can't function on 3-4 hours of sleep in 48 hours.
