I was on fentanyl for 3 years. I lost half of my monthly dose and just didn't take any. I had it last march 26 and JUST FOUND THE BOX! I am 64 year old RN, who until 10/28/15, was working full time with only mild HTN. Started having severe sternum pain at work, drove self to ER and ended up having emergency surgery for a thoracic aneurysm. After lying on my back for over 12 hours, all of lower lumbar discs were bulging and the back pain was the worse I have ever experienced.
