Side Effects Of Meva C

Hello Doctor, I have been suffering from irritable bowel syndrome for past few months and my doctor has prescribed meva c. It has been 3 weeks since I have been taking it and my periods have got delayed for more than a week. Is it because of meva c?

Or possibly Mevacor, which contains Lovastatin? The name clearly leads me to believe they meant some type of statin medication, these are usually the first choice for lowering cholesterol. It seems todo the job without side effects. Look into Lovastatin, Lipitor, Questram, Niacin, Crestor, Provachol, Mevacor and Lescol. I hope this helps.

How long does the withdrawl effect last? Course was taken for 4 1/2 months after which it was stopped abruptly.
