I am diabetic on glizid m 2 in morning and 1 at night with 20 points injection of lilly humaninsulin 30. I take 2 s zetaloplus at night for anxity, insomia and nerve pain. I am ok with this medication. I am always tense because of shortage of financial security and am 65 yrs old. Q is this ok. What could be the side effect in the long run. im having glizid 60 MR last two years, my fasting levels were around 120 and random 210, recently got my cataract operation hence reduced physical activity, in last six days reading is, fasting approx 160-180 and random 250-270, request advice should i break the dosage of 60mg by taking 30 mg tabs with morning and evening meals or increase to 60mg morning and 30 mg evening. thank you ## You should take the dosage prescribed, unless your doctor instructs you to change it. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, diarrhea, and hypoglycemia. Are you on any other medications? Do you keep your diet as low in fats and sugars as possible?

I am Diabetic type 2 and would like to know if I can cut the Glizide in a half to help reduce my symptoms?
