My dad is 55 years old he had heart attack 2 months before, he is suffering from bleeding from mouth rarely is this due to Ecosprin 150? ## Has he consulted his doctor about this? Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and, in cases such as his, it is used for its blood thinning properties. I am 58 years old, As a precaution and prescibed by a Medical Doctor (usually used for its blood thinning) for the last two and half years I have been taking Ecosprin 75 mg at bed time, I am fine carrying good helath, very active too. Now I have stopped to use this medicine ( sine Dec-13) because I have noticed the following. 1. Knee pains for the last 8 months. 2. Severe Gastro Problem (suffered alot) . 3. severe pain in Foot Muscle (bottom layer) 4. Prostate is enlarging. In my opinion, the best thing to do would be to use natural alternatives instead of this drug (depending on what your wife is taking it for). She may or may not continue to experience side effects until she stops taking the medication. That is just the nature of man made drugs. She can also try to take another medication to help ease the gas build up; but then again, that drug may come with side effects too. I am 74 yrs. I had heart bypass in Dec 2013. As per advice I am taking Ecosprin AV 150 & Amlopin 2.5 mg one tablet a day.I get a little congestion in throat & also have cough in the sputem. Can it be the side effect of the above medicines ? ## Those aren't usual side effects, according to the NIH, they typically include nausea, dizziness, headache, joint/muscle aches, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. Are you on any other medications? The Amlopin can cause a dry cough as a side effect.

I have been consuming ECOSPRIN AV 75/20 about last three months against prescription. For last few days, while siting on chair for an hour or two I feel that both of my feet bottom are having slight swelling. I want to know is it because of this tablet. My age is 66 and 85 kg wt.

I am taking Ecosprin av 75 since 1yr.prior to that was taking ecosprin75 after repair of mitral valve in 2008.Diffusion of body hair started since 2yrs nd continuing.Dermatologists could not diagnosed the reason. Cardiologist ignores it. Since Ecosprin is blood thinning medicine, is this the reason of hair fall from body. If yes, any alternative. She had taken Penidure-6la. upto 45 years age and has been continuing lasix half tablet every alternate day. I am a retired person. i used tobacco (chewing+ smoking). Suddenly i stopped about two years back. It was all right for about two months when I had some time utilization with an engineering college after my retirement which could not continue. Since, two years I have been taking these two medicines regularly. Now, I hope there are side effects. The problem is my hands & legs gets numb when I sit or lay atleast for 10/20 minutes in the same position.
