I am 35 years old, taking metzok 25 after breakfast and amlong 2.5 mg after dinner. Is there any side effects using these tablets daily for blood pressure? ## All medications carry the risk of causing side effects. However, it is far more risky to let blood pressure remain uncontrolled, since that could result in heart attack, stroke, or congestive heart failure, any of which may be fatal. I would like to know its therapeutic use, dosage for a 57 yr. old adult, when to take it, side effects, etc. ## I am on various tablets for hight blood pressure and react terrible to new tablets very often. Now I have been given Amiodipine tablets and the reviews I have read are bad enough so have not started them yet as too scared. My wife has been taking S Amlong 2.5 mg twice a day for the last 3-4 years. Can she take Amlodipine 2.5 mg instead of S Amlong 2.5 mg? Does it make a difference or is it one and the same medicine? If low blood pressure persits you can drop down it.
