I am 28 years old,very recently ,my bp was increased up to 140/100 and doctor prescribed me with amrifu 40 for seven days and told me to come back after seven days. On this contrary,I am very much eager to know if I can get rid of my bp to normal and is there any side effect of using amrifu at this. I only took a half portion as prescribed by doctor early in the morning and it has sort of pain or striking in the heart and feels uncomfortable.

My BP is 130/90 after taking Primodil 5 and Amifru 40 for 05 years. Does Amifru40 help to reduce blood pressure? My ECG and Lipids are are all within the normal range. What are the possible side effects of Amifru 40? ## My bp is 150/90..age 94. Can I take amifru 40 & met xl 25?

This drug has been prescribed to my dad for hyper temsion. He collapsed once he started taking this tablet. ## Amifru contains 5mgs of Amiloride and 40mgs of Furosemide, it is used to help treat high blood pressure. Common side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. I cannot say what caused him to collapse, this site is not medial professionals. Has he talked to his doctor?
