The reason I ask is because if you have been taking them for a long time, then most of the side effects should have worn off by now and should only reappear when you increase the dosage or change a medication.

I have been taking Tazloc H 80 for d past 4 yrs for Hypertension. Recently my fasting Blood Sugar has shot up to 200 mg/dl. I'm not a diabetic and there's no history of diabetes in my family. Is there any possibility of Tazloc H being the cause for hyperglycemia ?

The reports are clear and Normal. tezloc 20 side effect &how to counteract it. ## please give advice i am 33 yrs. old i take tazloc-20 from last 1 yr. any side effects. i can stop to take tab. or continue ## Have you consulted your doctor? They would be the only person that can advise you on whether or not it would be safe to discontinue the medication. Tazloc contains the active ingredient Telmisartan, it is used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions. And while it may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach pain, it would be a much greater risk if you let a cardiac condition or hypertension get out of control. I am suffering from hypertension and I underwent by pass surgery in 2004. I am prescibed the above mentioned tabletes. I want to know about this product. ## Tazloc is listed as containing the active ingredient Telmisartan, which is an ARB that's commonly used to help lower high blood pressure and to improve cardiac function. Learn more Telmisartan details here. Its common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and hypotension. I couldn't find a specific listing for Tazloc Beta, so that may include another ingredient, but I am not sure. Do you have any other information on it?

I am also on tamoxifen 20 tablet per day. Thanks. ## You should take the medications your doctor has prescribed and not reduce, or change them, without their approval. I had open heart surgery in 2006 and taking Carca 6.25 morning & Night, Clavix As75 afternoon and Lipicure-20 mg, Cardace 10 mg in the night. Now I am given TAZLOC -40. Telmisartan tablets IP 40 mg instead of Cardace-10 mg to avoid cough at times. ## Hello, Thiyagarajan! How are you doing? If your doctor prescribed them, because they felt it wouldn't cause the dry cough, then the best thing to do would be to try them and see how they work for you. The usual side effects to Telmisartan may include nausea, dizziness, hypotension and stomach pain, but not everyone experiences them. Learn more Tazloc details here.
