I am aged 60 years, suffering from diabetes for the last 16 years, depending on insulin since then, also diagnosed with high BP about seven years back. Most of the times I was taking Envass (5mg a day to 20mg a day) for controlling BP. Since my BP was quite hihg for the last one month or so, I was prescribed medicine, Tazloc H 40 mg along with Telestra 40 mg. Today is the tenth day of these medicines. Now I am observing that my blood sugar level has gone up considerably and BP is also not coming down. I have been taking Tazloc H 80 for d past 4 yrs for Hypertension. Recently my fasting Blood Sugar has shot up to 200 mg/dl. I'm not a diabetic and there's no history of diabetes in my family. Is there any possibility of Tazloc H being the cause for hyperglycemia ?

I have been prescribed this drug for control of my fluctuating Blood Pressure. Normaly my BP ranges between 80/140 to 90/150. Recently it shot unto 110/170. I am 61 yrs. and have been taking BP control medicine Tenormin 50 - one in the morning and Telma 20 - one in the night. Last week I got my Eco Cardiograme and CT Angeography done. The reports are clear and Normal. They would be the only person that can advise you on whether or not it would be safe to discontinue the medication. Tazloc contains the active ingredient Telmisartan, it is used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions. I am suffering from hypertension and I underwent by pass surgery in 2004. I am prescibed the above mentioned tabletes. I want to know about this product. ## Tazloc is listed as containing the active ingredient Telmisartan, which is an ARB that's commonly used to help lower high blood pressure and to improve cardiac function. Hi, I have been prescribed cilacar 20 and tazloc H since 3 months. Now my bp is on average 110 /80. I need to reduce. What should i take less of? Please advise. I am also on tamoxifen 20 tablet per day. Thanks. ## You should take the medications your doctor has prescribed and not reduce, or change them, without their approval. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Has there been any change?

I had open heart surgery in 2006 and taking Carca 6.25 morning & Night, Clavix As75 afternoon and Lipicure-20 mg, Cardace 10 mg in the night. Now I am given TAZLOC -40. Telmisartan tablets IP 40 mg instead of Cardace-10 mg to avoid cough at times. ## Hello, Thiyagarajan! How are you doing? One of my relatives has been prescribed above combination of two drugs but he is having terrible skin itching problem . Does it relate to any drug combination . He also takes eltroxin ## I m 50 yrs now, a diabetic from 23 yrs, from the age of 27; on oral medicine for 12 yrs and gradually now on both, i.e Lantus 30 U + H. Mixtard 28 &16 U + Galvas met 50/500. I am also taking Tazloc 40 + Amlovas (2.5/12.5) each OD for Cholestrol as Also Lipicure 20 H/s. The above problems are in moderate control BUT In last few years I m badly effected by ED problem. What should I take for (i) Diabetes (ii) BP (iii) Cholestrol and last but not least (iv) ED specially something effective for ED as I being shy hesitate to consult doctor in OPD and could not affort Private Doctor. Last One Year used take every day Tazloc Trio 40mg tablet. due BP High Blood Pressure. As off now controlled BP, range of 130/80. I like to reduced Dosage of Tazloc. Could you mention Tablet of Tazloc same drug Low dosage name. Tazloc Trio 40mg, used to take life long, side effects, then i have to take care for that. ## FYI, During 2010-2011 period eat high content fat items.
