Side Effect Of Oxmazetol 300

Iam using Oxmazetol 600mg BD. Since 2 years. But Now iam facing problem of memory loss. I want to know is this is side effect of this durg? ## Am 35 and married also blessed with two children, a daughter of 6 and son of 3. Having being diagnosed of mild depression observations of the Dr. were morbid psycology, violent outbursts and grand idection. Am presently on the following drugs since February 2008, 1) Pramipex .25 (twice a day), 2) Quitipin 50 (twice a day), 3) Valprol CR 500 (twice a day), 4) Oxmazetol 300 (once a day) and 5) Lamitor OD 50 (once a day). The dose varies but the prescription is same. I work for my state Police Dept. Am normally calm but with efforts. Appetite has increased and hence am gaining weight. Cannot withstand hunger. My daughter is 9 yrs old. After a seizure she was asked to have this tablet. She is getting aggressive, loud and is always hungry. Are these the side effects? Is the medicine suitable for her? ## How long has she been taking it? Those can be normal side effects, according to the NIH, but if they persist past 4 to 5 weeks, her doctor should be informed, as it might not be the right medication for her and she may need to try something else. Is this the only medication she is currently taking?

i am taking oxmazetol from 4 year,before i was taking 600mg twice a day.now i am taking 300mg twice a day.My weight is increasing gradually after started taking this medicen.Is this is the side effect of it? ## This contains the active ingredient Oxcarbazepine, which is an anticonvulsant that is also used as a mood stabilizer.
