I am a Type I diabetic. My diabetes was detected when I was 28 yrs old. Presently I am taking Insulin Humalog Plain thrice a day before every meal, my dose is 5 -10 - 5 units and also I take 18 units of Lantus Insulin at night. i, 51 yrs. diabetic for 24 yrs., was advised to take Jalra M50/500 when insulin rapid (15-15) was being taken twice with glyzid 80 (removed with 10-10-10 U dosages of rapid when jalra introduced) at lunch and 46U lantus at dinner by a doctor. he ignored my s.creatinine levels of 1.3. after 7 months creatinine levels increased to 1.5. another doc i consulted adviced to stop Jalra M 50/500. saya Jalra M 50/500 should not have been started? ## Hi , So post stopping Jalra , did your creatinine levels come back to normal ? I am 72+ having diabetic from the age of 65. It is in a good control. I was taking before breakfast 1 tab. Reclimet and 1/2 tab. of Pioglit 15. Since one year I am taking Jalra 50mg 1 tab instead of Pioglit as per Dr. advise. Since one month I am getting little constipation problem. I want to know is this due to Jalra 50? For my Diabetes Melitus which was detected 4 years ago when I was 67 years old I have, under doctor's supervision, been through a whole range of oral diabetis medicines which have basically been Metformon 500 mg tablets with various additives. These have not been of much help. My present figures are 188 (fasting) and 253 ( 2 hours after eating).
