I'm planning for a child but due to white discharge, my dr has recommended an insertion of Candid-cl tablets. It's a 3 day course. ## Hello, Soumi! Sorry about the infection. Are you currently pregnant, or just planning to become pregnant? If you aren't currently pregnant, then that would have no bearing on your using the medication. ## Hi , I had candid cl orally for two days is there any kind of problem that might occur. ## My friend was 8 months pregnant and she didn't know how to take the Candid-cl suppository. She has taken it orally for 3 days. Could there be any problems or side effects as a result?

Hello doc , i hav been using candid b sinc i was in class 5 as i had recurrent fungal infections.i use it Weneva i had d problem.i am 23 now nd since 3 years i hav been using dis cream every nyt on my cheeks because once i withdraw the cream i get severe pruritis and redness all over my face.i couldn't keep my hands off.. pls suggest a way tu get rid of these withdrawal signs

What would happen if candid b cream is accidentally ingested? ## Candid B is a local "skin application" that consists of Clotrimazole and betamethasone; it is effective for localized fungal infections such as Ring worm. I don't think ingesting the cream is a very good idea to say the least and may even cause more harm than good since it is not an oral medication. Keep in mind that Candid B is not effective in widespread fungal infections. For wide spread fungal infections one would need to take "oral" anti-fungal treatments. In addition, it is not very effective in fungal infection of the nails. As far as side effects go, Clotrimazole and Betamethasone can cause skin irritation. Some people can get allergic reactions but it is quite rare. Mild burning sensation, redn...

Since switching from xarelto to eliquis two years ago, I have been experiencing extreme bouts of sluggishness, itching and hives. Is that normal? ## I was switched to Eliquis low twice daily dose after 9 months on 20mg once daily Xarelto as i wanted to come off blood thinners altogether but specialist felt i was candidate for repeat blood clots due to age and other health factors. Dreadful experience - only on Eliquis 3 days before side effects of intense pins and needles all over body, pounding head, made me stop them. Back to Xarelto at specialist's insistence. Lesser side effects on Xarelto but still unhappy with feelings of weakness in legs, muddled thinking, loss of balance. Finally stopped Xarelto last month (my choice, not specialist's) and have slowly regained balance an...

can I use it on my face and how often can I apply it ## Looks like this is used to treat swelling and skin rashes due to infections. It has the following ingredients: Clotrimazole IP, Beclomethazone Dipropionate IP (Benzyl Alcohol IP, Methylparaben IP , Propylparaben IP) Cream Base. Being a topical creme, it should have safety instructions on how and where to apply it. If it does not say where to apply it, it may be ok to try starting off with a small amount on your face to see how well you react to it and bas your decision off of that test. Also, If this is a filled prescription, your doctor should have given you instructions of some sort; you should contact your doctor or local pharmacy if you experience any undesirable side effects associated with the application of this creme. The m...

I have had c-diff for 10 months now. I started on Flagyl, did a combo of Flagyl and Vanco, and spike treatments of Vanco at 125mg and 250mg. I recently heard that a Gastro doctor prescribes a drug called "Alinia" for his pediatric patients. I only heard the name, is this the right drug? If it is would I be a candidate for it? Do you combine it with Vanco? I heard it kills the spore, but I thought that wasn't possible. ## Alinia contains the active ingredient Nitazoxanide and it's only listed as being effect against Cryptosporidium and Giardia, so it's not used to treat Clostridium Difficile. You can learn more about C Difficile and the treatment options here: Does anyone else have advice or ideas to add?
