What is the role of libotryp in treating frozen shoulder and what are its side effects? ## I am suffering from a mild mitral valve problem and am taking acitrom 1mg, pentids 800 and atocor 10 mg since i have to visit a spine doctor for a back problem. The Dr. gave me clopitab A, cobix 200 and nexito. l'm on 1 day & had some imbalance issues after taking additional medicine. Please advise. I also have some tingling on my eyes and lips sometimes. ## Libotryp contains Amitriptyline and Chlordiazepoxide, it is actually an antidepressant, but some medication in this class can help with some types of nerve pain. I AM 64 Yr, OLD FEMALE, SEVERAL Yr's AGO I HAD ROTO CUFF SUJURY ON BOTH SHOULDERS, EVERYTHING WENT FINE, BUT NOW I HAVE NUMNESS ALONG WITH DEEP ACHEING IN MY ARMS MAINLY THE RIGHT ONE, SOMETIMES WAKING ME IN THE NIGHT. I have been Lyrica a year helped with pain in hip which I couldn't lie on. Now am having a lot of pain in elbows shoulders arms have had ultra sound and X-rays show nothing my GP sending me to physiotherapist which I haven't started yet been taking panadol and nurefen for this pain not helping much my GP is putting the pain down to a fall I had but my gut feeling is it's not related to that it's a different pain anyway I was wondering could it be the Lyrica causing this pain and if so what should I do. Pain is so severe can't function ## Hi Lori, I'm so sorry to hear about the severe shoulder pain you're dealing with. I sincerely hope that you've been able to find appropriate medical care to help with the healing process. What kind of accident might've caused this to happen? And have you had any sort of diagnosis done to see if something could be broken or fractured?

I had my first injection on Feb.16th. I am 72 years young. I have neck and shoulder pain off and on. Aqua Relaxing class at the Y has helped this but since the shot I am having more pain in neck and across my shoulders on both sides. Not sure if injection could cause this. I have a lot of stress in my life and also slept in a twin bed for a few days after shot and thought pain started with that. Not sure if that was the cause? Have been prescribed this medication for a frozen shoulder pain, How does it work, what are side effects? ## The active ingredient in this is Aceclofenac. This is not available in the U.S., so I cannot find a lot of information on it, however it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so the side effects will be similar to other drugs in this class, such as Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen. ## i am 76 old suffering from severe backpain and body pains. I have got pain in the left shoulder. I am now 63 years old.I suffer pain while wearing shirt or bunian and of such occasions. X-ray was taken. Doctor digonised as Ligment problem but there is no bone deformation. Some suggested to take Tendocare tablet for the pain. But doctor suggested to take Tripcy-D(Tripsy Bromelain, Rutoside Trihydrate & Diclofenac Potassium). I have got Gastritis. Presently I am using Nexpro-20 (Esomoprozole Magnesium). Please suggest

I am suffering from on right side upper back pain for the last 1 month.The pain is not on spine but on ride side upper prtions on ribs . Sometimes it propagates to right hand muscles & right elbows & I found difficulty in writing. I do not get good sleep at night due to pain. Doctors prescribed tab Ultracet, Zoradol, Dolakind MR etc But I got temporary relief. Pain started after stopping medicine. X ray on spine showed no ablormality & blood Uric acid is also OK. After the first surgery the surgeon did some kind of damage to my arm that was in 2016 but no neck burning and to this day after X-rays and CT's nothing comes up and it hurts terribly and I like you can hardly lift it and have a burning pain. docter prescribe aciloc 150 for pain in my shoulder...is it useful....? ## Hello, Niti! How are you? From what I can find, Aciloc contains the active ingredient Ranitidine, which is an antacid, so no, it will not do anything to treat shoulder pain. Where you prescribed anything else with it? Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness and stomach pain.

I have Degenerative Disc Disorder disease or what ever ppl call it now. I have had surgery on my neck an they said that should have helped. NO! I go through spells where im either numb or in severe pain all i can do is cry. My Dr refuses to give me anymore pain meds, bc my U/A came back clean. My wife is about to have some major shoulder surgery and I'm concerned because the surgeon is only talking about putting her on percocet and nothing else. I'm worried that this won't help her get "over the hump" pain-wise and don't want her to be in agony. Over the past several months (up to 12), I've had an increasingly severe pain build in my left shoulder and back. It started in the shoulder, high up almost into my neck (opposite my collar bone). Since then, it has spread to nearby areas all around my shoulder blade, including just behind my armpit. The pain also radiates down my entire left arm. The areas are painful when I move, and also painful to the touch; the skin is sensitive, almost like a post-surgical site (I've had multiple surgeries- more on that later). Have you had an exam or any testing done? If it is arthritis, there are products that can help with the pain and inflammation, such as the Icy Hot you mentioned, but there is no cure for it. Began 1st round antibiotic of Amoxicillin which wasn't working. After 3 days, had Dr call in new Rx of Augmentin which wasn't working. After 5 days, went back to urgent care and that's when the Dr. Prescribed 500 mg peach tablet of Levofloxacin taken once a day for 7 days. Started to bring my fever down on day 3 of it and the Dr told me I would have deep muscle pain while on it. Well, on day five I had deep muscle pain in legs and shoulders and arms. I have been off of the Rx for 3 days and I can't lift or move my upper arms without deep achy pain and popping. Getting some numbness and tingling too. I used marijuana for one weekend to heal my shoulder bursitis. It kept the swelling and pain away while I rested and read books for the entire weekend. It seems that keeping the swelling down and resting the shoulder are key. The bursitis was almost gone by Monday morning and went away without a trace within a couple weeks.

My mom had a stroke four months ago and she having some pain on her shoulder and hands and some tingling feeling on the left side of her body (damage part of her stroke). Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that has been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain, but it will take about 4 to 6 weeks to reach its full efficacy level in the body. I had shoulder surgery Thursday 07/21/16 and was giving 5-325 Oxycodone but don't seem to be helping with the pain today is day 4 would it be ok to ask for something a little stronger ## Actually you should talk to your doctor surgical pain should lessen over time not increase you may be having an underlying surgical anomaly( commonly infection ) that needs to be resolved talk to your doctor as soon as you can
