Can xanax and ativan be taken together at the same time without hurting me physically? ## Hello, Beth! How are you? No, these are both benzodiazepines that treat the same conditions, so there is no need to take both. Additionally, doing so may result in overdose which has the potential to be fatal. Xanax is also stronger than Ativan, so the latter will have little effect in addition to Xanax. I just had eye surgery and was given Norco (4x a day) and Motrin (3x a day) to take for pain, can I take them at the same time or do I need to space them out? ## Hi Chris, Hope you're recovering well from the surgery. From what I could gather, there are no drug interactions listed between Norco (acetaminophen + hydrocodone) and Motrin (ibuprofen). So I don't see why it wouldn't be ok to take them both together if that's what you need to do in order to achieve adequate pain relief. Also as long as it's the same doctor who prescribed both, I think that he/she would've informed you up front of any possible risks involved with doing so if there really were serious consequences to be had. I hope this helps!

can I take Librium and valium at the same time what would the side effects be? ## They can be taken together, as long as your doctor approves and is monitoring you regularly. Both of these medications can increase sedation, so taking them together could result in more drowsiness, dizziness and somnolence than usual. The FDA lists Librium as being used to treat anxiety, symptoms of alcohol withdrawal and tremor. Typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and sedation. I take several medications and see to be having issues on occasion and I am wondering if I should be taking all these meds at specific times other that what the label says to get the best benefits and possibly have less yucky issues. If not how many 5 325 equal 15mg percocet?? Curious as dr said I could take that much but didn't specify. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? First, there is no 15mg Percocet, so I'm assuming your mean a 15mg Oxycodone tablet. The 5/325 stands for 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus, it would take 3 of them to reach 15mgs of the Oxycodone, but factoring in the Acetaminophen, you may do well with just one or two. It's also very important not to take more than your doctor has prescribed, because it is very dangerous to exceed 3,000mgs of Acetaminophen in a day. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there a...
