What is the different shapes and sizes and colors of ms contin 100mg ## Hello, Kp! How are you? I'm sorry, but since this medication is available as both a name brand and a generic, there are far too many tablets available for me to be able to list the detailed information about all of them. Do you have a certain pill you are questioning? If so, please post back with its description and the markings on it and I'll gladly check for you to see what it contains. Thanks! ## I have a pill that was said it was a tamdol it 100mg and it shape as a oval color is orange but has no code on it ## I have a pill tamdol that was said it was a tamdol it 100mg and it shape as a oval color is orange but has no code on it

Hi. The pharmacist gave my mom her refill on her zolpidem and she didn't really pay attention and thought it was a new prescription for sleeping since it was a peachy orange color. It has been giving her really bad nightmares ever since she has been taken it. The bottle says zolpidem but this has never done this to her before and she has always gotten a white pill (so have I). Do you think they messed up and gave her the wrong med? It just came to my attention tonight. ## Hey there. So yeah Zolpidem is a generic drug and made by a ton of different companies, so the pills indeed are difrerent colors and/ or shapes depending on whos making it. From the way you describe this particular pill your mom is on, Im guessing its Torrent. And Torrent is crapola on a stick. It gives me intense ...

Is there a reason for medications having different shapes, sizes and colors? If so when was the system first developed? ## Hello, Rclancy! How are you? It isn't the shapes, sizes or colors that matter, that is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Some of them will use different colors or shapes to make it easier to distinguish one dose from another, but they do not have to do so. The mandate under law by the FDA, is that all manufactured prescription medications must have unique markings on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency. For all the government cares, they could all be white, round tablets, as long as the markings on them are different, so they can be traced back to the original manufacturer, as well as allowing you to discover what the pi...

This last prescription I got were white tablets with little green specs - one side has the letter V and the other side has 3594. I have only taken solid white tablets in the past for Hydrocodone Pills ## Hi Sandra, The one's marked V 3594 are simply made by a different manufacturer than what most people are used to seeing. Oblong white pills definitely seem to be the most commonly prescribed versions, while there are yellow, blue, pink, orange and green tablets as well. I've also seen the white ones with red specs. Keep in mind though that these colors and/or shapes are always subject to change depending upon the discretion of the manufacturer. I hope this helps!

How many Oxycodone IR 20mg brands are there? What are the colors & shapes, including generics? My friend gets these and changes pharmacies from time to time because of the quality. Her usual one says he gets ones w/ the lowest costs for consumers. Thank you. ## Unfortunately, I can't possibly list them all for you, since it is available as a generic, it is manufactured by many different companies, they all have different markings, plus the shapes, and colors can vary. And yes, that is how all pharmacies work, they will stock whichever generic was being offered at the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and co...

Do the shapes / colors or numbers on a pill or manufacturer have anything to do with which pill is stronger if the are the same mg? ## That can be an indicator of strength, however not always? Pills range from .25 mg to 2 mg with a 3 mg extended release version. Size is a factor as well, a 2 mg "School Bus" or "Pie" & the 3 mg ER are larger than your 1 mg dose. There are also illegal Xanax that claim to be up to 5 mg or more. The only way to really know is obtaining them from a Pharmacy ## Don’t know how anyone would get them or anything else off the streets. Years ago you could do that now they sneak fillers in them and deadly other drugs mixed in. I never thought I’d ever see a friend of mine have to go underground for a Z pac because they even refuse t...

What do these pills look like. Please send me colors and shapes of this pill. ## @Manuel, Based on my research, I've seen these Maxifort Zimax 50 mg tablets depicted as being light orange and round. I've also seen 100mg tablets that are oblong and violet in color. Please note however that these depictions are based on stock images and may not accurately represent their true color. If you're still unsure about these, I'd encourage you to bring a tablet to your local pharmacy for a closer evaluation. Hope this helps! ## They're are pink and oblong shape ## They look like the form/shape of Cialis and pale orange I have some here in my hand at the moment... works better than Viagra. ## yes them are the ones pink and oblong 100mg work grate got some myself from mexeco

Oxycodone comes in many different shapes and colors. As many different shapes and colors that exist, there are just as many different manufacturers. No one pill is the same. E/8 with nothing on the side and dark blue is a oxycodone 30mg and i can say this for a fact cause I'm looking at them now. No one oxycodone is the same: Ms, Vs, A215, A51, 114, 224, algs, E/8 and many many more... ## You're right, no oxycodone tablet is created equally. Although I think this also holds true for many other types of medications as well containing the same active ingredients (with minor to moderate discrepancies in generics vs brands) - Not to mention the different sets of inactive ingredients that seem to affect bioavailability for better or worse absorption. Couple these facts with our uniqu...

what,s the difference in shapes and colors of poiassium pills and lortabs ## To glance at them, some of them actually look very similar and it could be easy to mix them up. And as to pointing out the specific differences, since they are both available as generics, there's really no way to list all of them on here. They all have different markings on the tablets to enable them to be identified, according to dosage and manufacturer. The color is really entirely up to their whit and whim. You can learn more Potassium details here and you can learn more Lortab details here. Thus, if you have tablets that you are unsure of, please post and include as much detail as possible, such as the shape, color, approximate size and all markings on them. That will enable someone to check for you and...

is thid the same as a blue xanax? ## Xanax can come in many colors or shapes. That is not Xanax! MYLAN 457 is Lorazepam 1 mg. It is used in the treatment of anxiety; insomnia; sedation; nausea/vomiting; nausea/vomiting, chemotherapy induced (and more), and belongs to the drug classes benzodiazepine anticonvulsants, benzodiazepines, miscellaneous antiemetics. The manufacturer's page shows a picture. ## This tablet contains 1mg of Lorazepam, the active ingredient in Ativan. So, it is a benzodiazepine that's also used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders, but not Xanax/Alprazolam. It has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Learn more Ativan details here. what's the difference in the different shapes and colors and printed numbers on Percocets? ## Hi Sharon, A round yellow pill marked with "C 230" is reported to be a generic version of Percocet containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen, used for moderate to severe pain. And this particular pill is manufactured by a company called Alvogen. However I think it goes without sayin' that all of the different shapes, colors, and imprints you see on any given pill are simply indicators for identifying various manufacturers, dosages, and of course the substance(s) - including inactive ingredients. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Am trying to find out why two separate 230 C percocets while having the (230) - (230) side by side and perfectly st...

what does a morphine 30 mg look like? ## Morphine 30mg tablets and capsules come in many different colors, shapes, and sizes. I've seen the 30mg tabs in the following colors/shapes (there may be more as well): green - round brown - oblong pink - oval purple/white - capsule white - oval white - round purple - round However, if you were to know a specific imprint on a particular pill, I could narrow the details down for you by manufacturer and drug code. Hopefully this helps none the less! ## I have a pill that someone says is a morphine 30mg. It is hot pink, oval, with a capital N on one side and 30 on the other. I have been taking percocet 10/325 for years for a severe pain that is constant and over the years received several different shapes as well as colors for this medication. I just got a scrip filled (3 hours ago) and took one of this pills upon arriving home and I do not feel ANY pain relief. I was wondering if it was just me or if this med takes longer to work?? The pills have A333 on them and after looking them up online I now have a better understanding of what I was given. How can a company actually manage to release a med like this? I know that we all are trying to cut costs but my goodness this is really not the way to do it as far as I am concerned. I also feel kinda sick to my stomach and was wondering what in the world is in these pills. I cannot find the contents (fillers maybe...

By taking once a day for severe back pain - will you become addicted to them. ## Vicodin pills can come in various shapes and colors regardless of dosage (It depends on the manufacturer you are talking about). The most common look I have seen for this pill is probably white and oblong with a score line on one side. I don't know how many different manufacturers make Vicodin, but if you can provide the name of the one in question I can possibly look it up on their website and let you know the description. But in regards to addiction; I cannot tell you whether or not you will get addicted as I don't know anything about your medical history or current state of health, etc; (that is a question for your doctor), however my suggestion is to take them as long as you are prescribed for, ...

Is it normal for the size and shape of a generic drug to vary from store to store? ## These types of pills can be different shapes, colors, and sizes. Even though they are the same mg...for example...a 30mg amphetamine salt combo can come in pink or orange...both act the same and have the same ingredients...even though they look nothing alike. The reason being that they are made from 2 different manufacturers. ## Is D-Amphetamine another name for Adderall? Or is it another version [generic?] of it? I mean what's the difference? My doctor just prescribed Adderall for me, only for a few weeks until I can get through my thesis. The dosage is pretty low as I understand: D-Amphetamine Salt Combo 10mg, once a day. I have been taking it for 3 days now (1/day) 20-30min before I start writin...

I have found a orange round pill with a funny looking C on one side and the #223 on the other. What is it? ## Generic percocet comes in a lot of shapes, forms and colors. There is a 5mg oxycodone (no tylenol) that is marked with 223. Round, white pill with a single score on the opposite site from the "223" marking - manufactured by Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories. ## Hello, Chris! How are you? I believe that the tablet you're looking at may have that logo with the numbers 229 on it. If so, then yes, it is a generic for Percocet that contains 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. As Darwinski has...
