Fluocinolone acetonide is a corticosteroid primarily used in dermatology to reduce skin inflammation and relieve itching.[citation needed] It is a synthetic hydrocortisone derivative. Can I relax my hair and use Clobex shampoo? ## Clobex (Clobetasol) is used to treat the itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling, inflammation, and discomfort of various skin and scalp conditions. Hair relaxers tend to have so many ingredients (as much as 50 or more) that one would have to check each and every interaction between them and the shampoo in order to know for sure. Having relaxed my own hair in the past, I would be willing to give it a shot and see how your hair reacts. In general however, the hair should remain relaxed for at least a few weeks despite using various shampoos. It could be contraindicating however if the shampoo is for curls and you relaxed your hair to be straight. That would really be the only concern in my honest opinion. Have you tried it yet with any ...

I have noticed hair loss when shampooing hair. I was taking a pill c-triest.progesterone 2mg/100mg. Took for 6 months and got off of it for 3 months, Started taking again in January. Could any of this cause hair loss? ## Hello, Lily! How are you? Yes, the estrogens can cause hair loss, especially if they are the dominant hormone. That's actually why many women in perimenopause and menopause experience hair loss, when you don't ovulate each month, or stop ovulating, you don't produce as much progesterone, but you are always inundated with estrogens. You may want to speak to your doctor about making some dosage adjustments, such as raising the progesterone and/or lowering the estrogens. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for your help.

I need to know the price for Clobex shampoo and lotion 0.05% ## Hello, Dottie! How are you? I'm sorry, but this website does not manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications or products. It is an information only website, so I do not have a price to quote you. Have you checked with your local pharmacies? This is a type of steroid and may cause side effects, such as irritation, itching, skin atrophy and folliculitis.

from few month my hair start falling every day while coming my hair.Dr prescribe me konaz shampoo and mintop 10% to use .But there is no result while using these medicne . ## If the medication is not working for you as prescribed, then you probably shouldn't continue using it. The stability of one's hair can't just be treated from the outside if the issue is an internal factor; such as being deficient in certain nutrients that make hair strong. What it really comes down to, in my opinion, is what changes you may have made to your dietary habits or lifestyle before your hair began to fall out? It may not seem like a big factor, but your body can respond to these stimuli in a variety of different ways, whether the change is negative or positive. Figuring out the underlying pro...

Been having an itching scalp and skin at night when going to bed and it keeps me awake. Changed shampoos several times thinking that was my problem. Then I saw the list of side effects and it could be this medicine. Feels like ants crawling on my skin during the day and at night. Been taking this since my open heart surgery in Jan 2015. Seems to be getting worse. Anyone have these side effects? ## Hello, Jules! How are you? This class of medications can cause those types of issues, due to the way they work on your circulation to lower blood pressure and improve heart function, as reported by the FDA. I used to experience it myself, when I was taking Candesartan. However, since you have had open heart surgery, there could be something else going on with your circulation that isn't re...

My skin itches after taking a bath. I have changed soaps and body lotions ## Hello, Sybza! How are you doing? What about your shampoo and conditioner, if you use any? Those typically wash down over the body, when you're using them and then rinse them off, so that's also something you should look into. How about your towels and the detergent and/or fabric softener you use on them? What type of water do you have? All could be culprits. Have you consulted your doctor?

I am losing a lot of hair. I have been on a prexum 10mg for 6 months now, my hair loss seems to get worse, I am even too scared to wash my hair, I have tried various shampoos too. I am currently also taking multivitamins and folic acid to help with not loosing too much hair? I read that you should wash the site before application. Are you to wash your hair everyday, twice a day if you apply Fluorouracil 2 x per day? Is it ok to use your regular shampoo. I understand that use of Fluorouracil cream can spread to areas that may not already show signs of precancerous spots. Has anyone noticed this to happen? How far has it spread, entire scalp? Please share any experience you have had with treating scalp.

I have Tinea versicolor and have had it for about 11 years now. I didn't actually go to the doctors about it until a few months ago. I have since been prescribed a shampoo which I used for 3 days and didn't see a difference and for the last 9 weeks have been taking fluconazole as I have suffered from bouts of thrush for equally as long. I've been told the fluconazole will definitely clear the TV but so far, nothing on both fronts. I'm brown in complexion and have light patches from my belly button up to my neck, and all over my back. Now that I know it can be cleared, I feel I've really got my hopes up but have not seen a single bit of progress. Is there literally ANYTHING that's proven to get rid of this for life!?
