PLZ SUGGEST ME WHAT DOES IT MEAN SGOT 157 AND SGPT 98 ## My sgpt is 157 and sgot is 72.what should i do.is this a major prpblem.2 years before i was suffering from fatty liver.but i recovered all my reports were generally normal.but today i came to know about my sgpt sgot value.please suggest me what to do.

is it possible that stress may affect sgpt and holesterol only? ## Hello, Laki1958! How are you? No, if SGPT is raised, it is due to something affecting your liver, such as an infection, another medication you're on, hepatitis or etc. And Cholesterol is exactly that, elevated cholesterol levels. Is there anything else I can help with?

today was i checked my S.G.P.T level in blood.its showing 130 mg/dl.i am so worry.because i not to use alcohol or smoking.i am pure vegetarian.but in my childhood i suffered with jaundice at once.i had ayurvedic medicine&got well fast.i wanna know about the medicine which i can use without by doctor's prescription? ## My age is 27 year sgpt is 59 I have no habit of alcohol drnk pl reply ## My Sgpt level has constantly been high for years. First get an advised or prescription from ur attending physician. We have our different history diagnosed and the causes of illness. I was diagnosed in SGPT of 110u. My doctor prescribe me a Sylimarin (Steinbach brand) to cure in 10days for my final medical abroad. He said its either fatty liver or chronic liver disease like hepatitis.(please google cause by liver disease) he advice me to eat only grilled fish without using any edible oil, eat fruits, no meat for curing period. Hi. My sgot (serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase) level is 40 u/l and my sgpt (serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase) level is 37 u/l. Are these levels associated with a liver problem or is everything alright with my liver? Someone told me it's too high. Please advise.

I am a kidney patient on dialysis. My sgpt & sgot levels increased to 333 & 264. Please tell me what medicine i can take? My mother is taking godex ds since she have high cholesterol then yesterday we wnt back to lab and we found out that her lipid is already normal. But still her sgpt and sgot are above normal so our doctor decided to continue her godex ds. And now we also find out she have diabetes. Iam a type-2 diabetic for the past 10 years taking insulin 15 - 15. 3 Years back I was d diagonised with fatty liver and my bilirubin count is around 2 +/- .5. LFT confirms I do not have Hepat, a, b c d or e. My sgot & sgpt are also slightly high. I have taken a SGPT test. Which shows a value of 70 that is to much higher then general range of 0-40.The person in lab suggested that i should use livogen syrup... My sgpt level was 29 in 2018, 43 in 2019 and 66 in 2021, all other parameters of lft like sgot, ggt are stable. why is this shift in sgpt/alt level. i am feeeling fatigue, weight loss and indigestion, stomach growling and diarrheal symptoms after eating. i have done endoscopy and colonoscopy and reports are fine.
