I've started the HP Pack but I took the first sachet over 3 days instead of taking it all the first day and then moved to the next sachet. After 3 days I realized the mistake. Now I am having abdominal pain & not sure what to do & the impact. Should I continue with the existing pack & buy a new one to complete the 7 days or should I start a new pack? ## Abdominal and stomach pain can be normal side effects of the medications included in these packs. As reported by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and diarrhea. As to whether or not you need to add more days, or start over, it would be best to check with your doctor to see what they feel you should do. You may not have gotten enough of a dose to fully eradicate the bacteria. Are you on any other...

Does anyone who uses the Foradil aerolizer, who also has arthritis, find it extremely difficult to open the package to get a capsule? ## I spent about 8 minutes trying to peel the six "peel away" seals off my Foradil. I have used the product for over a year, but this last batch seems to have defective adhesive or something,,,I think if you hold the packet in your hand and let it warm up to your body temp it makes it easier, but still a pain. ## I do not have arthritis, but I find the new Foradil packaging to be very aggravating. It can be very tedious and time-consuming to get the capsule out of the package. ## I've lately found it easier to deal with the packaging if I use scissors to cut along the perforated edges of each sleeve of capsules. The only issue then is that i...

in prepping for a colonoscopy, i had to half the large bottle of miralax to mix with liquid. large bottle is 8.3, so i went to half that and realized the large bottle contains 12 oz, not 8.3 as labeled.....why???? they say that the 17oz lid has 14 servings (8.3) but i measured out the 14 servings in the lid, and there is still more than 8.3...so do i prep with 8.3 oz or the whole bottle (which everyone assumes is 8.3!!) ## Hello, Jan! How are you? If they told you to use the whole bottle, then that is what you should do, but please double check with your doctor to be sure. I've not seen anyone else mention this, so it seems very odd. The FDA classifies this as being a laxative and its typical side effects may possibly include stomach pain, bloating, diarrhea and dizziness. Is there ...

I think I had a shortage in my box this month of fentanyl patches. Usually there are 5 per box. I started to change my patch this evening and I only had two in the package. There should had been 3. This is one of the few times that I didn't count my patches upon opening the box. I have a routine in the evenings when it is time for the change of the patch. So my husband and I spent time trying to construct my procedures for the last couple of changes trying to see if there was a possibility that I dropped one in the floor and it slid under something. Has anyone else had a problem with shortage of patches in your boxes? ## I have been on fentyal pain patches I have constant pain the first month I had the 25mg now second month he put me on 50 mg this time there is a shortage I'm mi...

Why is my Klor-Con powder prescription so expensive even with the co-pay ## Hi Judy, From what I understand, prices can often vary at the pharmacy's discretion, depending on what cost they received it at from the manufacturer/distributor. However if money remains a concern, I would encourage you to try various drug discount cards, such as the one MedsChat offers here: RX Savings Card Coupons like these can reportedly save you anywhere from 15 to 75% off your prescription, and are valid at most pharmacies here in the US. The card can be printed out and brought with you when you go to fill your prescription, in order to see what type of discount they offer. Not sure if you might be aware of this or not, but fruits and vegetables are also abundant in minerals including potassium. If yo...

My wife has suffered due to severe neck pain and back pain from yesterday . The same problem, she faced last year and recovered after lot of treatment. I need solution, why it happened suddenly once again and how to recover from this problem (Medicine and Food) ## I am sorry, but no one is going to be able to diagnose the problem and provide you with a solution from just a short post on a website. She needs to be examined by a doctor, who can run the proper tests to see what is causing her problem and then can talk with her about her treatment options. There are many reason she may be experiencing such problems with pain. It could be something related to nerve damage or irritation, so it may be neuropathic. Has she contacted a doctor, yet?

My friend gave me a ten pack of what he said are 10/500 hydros. They are yellow no impront, but a score in the middle on one side. Back of pack says 10/500 mallinckrodt but ive never seen um like this. He wouldnt say where they came from so anyone got a take on this. ## In my (past) experience they are from india or some other foreign maker. Most likely they are fake. They coul possibly be real but either way they probably cost A LOT OF MONEY and are trash. God only knows what they fill those things with. Good luck with them. ## Mallinckrodt is a well known pharmaceutical manufacturer, but I have to agree with the other person that posted that these tablets are highly suspect. My reasoning for this is due to the fact that Mallinckrodt uses their M logo on all of their prescription produc...

I started taking the medication yesterday and took 6, today i take 5, then 4, and 3, etc so for 6 days total. I am taking this along with Augmentinj 875 mg, every 12 hours. I have had a horrible sinus/ ear infection for at least 3 months and haven't been able to taste food or smell anything. Body aches, headaches, horrible anxiety and terrible fatigue. Mid day yesterday I started feeling so much better, my sense of smell came back last night and I cried. I enjoyed dinner so much I could finally taste food. I've never taken this medication before and was afraid to google it. Upon looking I see many negative things. So far I have had a great experience with this steroid pack and wish I would have taken it sooner. I hope my symptoms don't return or i have withdrawals. I'm a...

Robert ## I persistent coughing for one week. do v pack help me ## For anyone else seeking details, it's actually called a Z-Pak, though it's very easy to misunderstand letters that sound similar. I missed 2 blue pills in week 3 of my pack. I normally take them at night. I forgot to take pills Sat night and Sunday night. I remembered Monday morning and took both, then took Monday's pill Monday night and have continued with the pack. I now see that I should have thrown out the pack after missing two and started fresh. I had intercourse at the start of my week 4 pills - should I be concerned about pregnancy? ## Hello, Danielle! How are you? Yes, if you missed pills there is an increased risk of pregnancy. Usually, they instruct you to wait and see if your period is late and, if it goes 7 days or more late, then to have it checked out, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headac...

One takes sumatriptan succinate for migraines. When one has started, it is tough to see clearly. However, the blister packaging of this drug is diffilcult and frustrating to deal with even without a migraine being present! WHY do these pills have to be packaged this way?????? ## Well, unless you're storing them for a very long time, there's really no reason they have to stay in that packaging. You'd want to make sure to keep them out of reach of children and pets, but you could take them out of the blister packs ahead of time, so when you need to take one for a migraine, you're not fighting with the packaging at an inopportune time. :-) Learn more Sumatriptan details here. I used to get muscle relaxants in similar packaging and I'd sit down with about a weeks worth a...

Blister pack says ALP on front and alplax on the blister pack where r they from? And are they legit? ## Alp in blister pack says alpax on the blister pack are they legit and where r they from ## From what I could gather, Alplax is identified as a foreign brand of generic Alprazolam (2mg). Apparently these ones are made by a company called Gandor pharma based out of Argentina. However, I have not come across any specific details stating if they are actually legitimate. Usually when it comes to these types of medications from other countries, the other main concern has to do with their potency and whether or not they live up to normal FDA standards. If you think they may be unsafe, I would suggest going with your intuition on this one since information on them seem to be rather scarce. Do...

I've taken a methylprednisolone dose pack early October, and I am still experiencing typical withdrawel symptoms, 2 1/2 months later.. low blood pressure, nausea, dizziness, muscle pain, heart palps, alergies, etc. I reacted very badly while taking it, having to stop it the fifth day. How much longer will this go on?? ## I had a similar situation. I stopped taking (weaned off) on December 19. Four weeks out and I'm still having side effects. ## Mayhem, how are you doing now? It's been almost 5 months after my last dose, and I am still dealing with problems, due to the dose pack. Nobody seems to know what is wrong, or how to fix it. I am really frustrated. My biggest problem is that I seem to be allergic to almost everything I eat, yet allergy tests show no allergies. I have ...

Round white pill no imprint? HAB pharmaceutical licence #48/ua 2006 ## Looks like a cheap generic of Soma (Carisoprodol), possibly produced semi-legally in response to rising demand on account of an increasing number from international orders to Indian pharmacies. Doesn't seem to be effective much. ## Pain-O-Soma is a very minimal substitute for Watson brand Soma at best. Even though it is plainly marked Carisprodol 350mg tablets they are placeboes in comparison. My advice is find a nice family dr that will prescribe it from a US pharmacy. There have recently been several states added as no ship states for Soma only in many cases. ## And if there are no markings on the tablets, there is no way to establish whether or not the medication you received actually contains Carisoprodol or ...

I have been on zubsolv for about 3 months now, before that I was on Suboxone and in my recent prescription I opened up about 6 blister packs and there was no pill inside.
