Hi, I have been using Duac gel for several months and have seen some very impressive progress with my acne. I live in one house on week days and another on weekends. (I keep my Duac refrigerated.) Originally I was packing up my Duac each Friday and Sunday in a cooler bag to bring back and forth, however this is really tedious. I was wondering - can I squeeze some of the Duac into another container to keep at my secondary house (aka - a little travel container with a screw on lid) so that I don't have to bring the tube back and forth all the time? I wasn't sure if this would some how affect the effectiveness of the medicine. Thanks! ## From the images I am finding, it appears to be in a plastic tube, therefore I'd think that any type of solid container that seals out air, suc...

A pharmacist told my mom that Senacot S and Senna plus has been voluntarily pulled from shelves, ANY INFO????? ## does anyoneknow why Senna plus has been pulled from drugstore shelves? ## I tried searching for this, but cannot find any information. Does anyone else know anything about this? ## I have been relying upon senakot for many years and am very upset that I cannot acquire it now. Other laxatives do not work well for me or as gently. It has not harmed me as I am now 81 and in good health. Why is it now not available. ## Try one of the drugstore house brands made to emulate it. I think you can still purchase senna supplements from nutrition stores and phsyllium husk products from Wal Mart. Senna is tough on my stomach so I only use it in low doses. Probiotics keep me regular.

I have a sealed container of Augmentin that is 2 months expired and stored properly. Can I still use it? ## Hi Trudy, it is not recommended 2 use any medication that has expired . ## I have a Rx of chewable suprex that says it expires November 2015. I have had it for about 6 months so since its not expired is it still ok? ## It would be best not to use an expired medication, unless your doctor says it is okay to do so. An expired antibiotic may not be as effective as it was when new, which means it may not fully eradicate the infectious bacteria, and that the infectious bacteria could develop antibiotic resistance. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Augmentin as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Ref: Augmentin Information April,...

PM Doc put me on Hysingla 40mg, works great but a real pain to find a drug store that had it or would order it. Search all major drug stores from Hammond La to Mandeville La. Finally was able to fill at a new independent place that just opened in the shopping center adjacent to Win Dixe on Hwy 21 in Covington La. I believe it's Laytons Phamacy. They were able to fill it in one day. ## I'm very glad that you finally found it. Most drug stores can't order it in, because they are limited in how much they can order and stock of controlled substances each month. Thus, if they've already stocked their limit on other controlled substance or run out, they cannot order a new supply until the next month. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the pot...

Does anyone know what store makes this brand, it works GREAT & I can't remember where I got it... Thanks~ Sleepless in Georgia... ## Hi Sonya, Don't mean to disappoint, but based on my research there are no sleep aids being marketed by the name of "guardian nighttime sleep aid", "guardian sleep aid", or any other variation of those words. This is not to say that they don't exist, but if they do, they certainly aren't being marketed in a way that makes them easily accessible to the public eye. Do you recall whether it was some form of homeopathic remedy or something only available at health food stores? Any other specific details on the packaging/label might also help to narrow down our search... Thanks! ## Yes it's sold by Dollar Tree stores!! I b...

sealed neurontin shelf life ## The shelf-life should be mentioned on the label, as by law I believe it is mandatory. However based on my own research, shelf-life isn't always accurately depicted and could significantly vary depending on how the medication is stored. From what I could gather, it may be up to 2-5 years from the date of manufacture. I hope this info helps!

UNOPENED BOTTLE OF HIDROCODONE BITARTRATE SINCE 2012, STILL OK THANK YOU ## Hello, Mario! How are you? If it is in the original factory sealed container, then yes, it is most likely still good. When stored like that they usually last about 4 years. However, if it is in a pharmacy dispensed bottle, then it would have expired one year from the date of issue, because those bottles can leave it exposed to the elements that cause degradation, such as heat, light and moisture. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

My 20mg prednisone tablets have no expiration date. How long will they maintain their potency and life stored at room temperature around 78 to 82 degrees in fairly dry conditions? ## Hello, Gerry! How are you? If they are still in the original sealed bottle from the factory, then they have a 3 to 4 year expiration date, if kept in a cool, dark, dry location, which would be less than the temperature you've mentioned. If they are in a pharmacy bottle, which exposes them to the elements that cause degradation, then the expiration date is one year from the date they were dispensed to you. Is there anything else I can help with?

when will alavide 300 25 once again become available in drug stores ## Hi Dean, Apparently availed is currently available by prescription only. You can take a look at the link below for more information on this: NOTE: that webpage was updated in 2011, so this is recent. Additionally, you can search around for medications that contain the two active ingredients found in Avalide: (Irbesartan + Hydrochlorothiazide) Since it is available, I would consider talking to your doctor about prescribing this medication if you haven't already found an alternative. Please post back if you have any other general questions or concerns about this drug.

I have been searching for Fexofenadine hcl / congestion (generic for Allegra D). No major pharmacy seem to have it. It is the only one I find help my allergies. The brand is so expensive. ## Have you tried ordering it from the web? There are many websites that offer it and it would be much easier than running around to more stores to look for it. Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness and dry mouth. Fexofenadine is just a generic for Allegra, Allegra D contains it with Pseudoephedrine. ## I have been search too, no luck at any pharmacy in the DFW TX area. Something must be up with the maker of it, but no one seems to no what is going on- in fact few internet searches even result in others searching... it's as if almost no one notices the sudden disappearance. ...

Been searching for Visine LR and cannot find it anywhere. HELP! Where can I find it? ## I found some on MedShopExpress but I heard this was not a reliable website. I placed an order for 2 but i am not optimistic that I will actually receive them. Good luck ## I still can't find Visine LR. I've checked all on-line options and my local stores in Northern California. I'd appreciate any tips. I'm very dependent on this product. It's all that helps me anymore. ## I was able to get an equivalent to these eye drops made at a compounding pharmacy. I went to Compounded Solutions in Pharmacy. Their phone number is 203-268-4964. Can I still take Temazepam that expired 9 years ago? ## It doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but it will most likely have lost some of its efficacy. Even when a medication is stored in the original, factory sealed packaging, it still expires in 4 to 5 years, and if it has been opened, and placed in a prescription bottle dispensed by your pharmacy, then its expiration date is a year from when it was dispensed. Harvard Health has some great information available on expiration dates. The way the medication has been stored in the intervening years can also play a role, exposure to heat, light, air, and moisture all aid in degradation. It would be best to dispose of it, and see your doctor for a new prescription, if one is needed. Ref: Temazapam Information Is there anything else I...

Break in half line on one side .other side SC above D22 under ## Not sure but it might be a latin american generic diazepam ## When I get a new generic manufacture of a med, I search the web for a picture to make sure the store dispensed the correct med. I’ll google: picture (space) name of the med, and if I know more details I’ll add a space with the manufactures name, and space enter any imprint. For pictures of diazepam SC D22 there were no matches but I did see all the pictures of the med. and generic manufacturers. You may want to take another look at the med to see if your info is correct. If that doesn't work, you may want to take it to a pharmacy.

How To Help Someone Who Took 20mgs Of Morphine ## If you feel this person may have taken more than they needed or overdosed, I would strongly recommend getting some activated charcoal at your local health food store. According to Dr. Al Sears, MD. he wrote an article that spoke of: "Most poisons in your body are attracted to charcoal; even prescription drugs. Since your body reacts to most prescription drugs as toxins (that's why there are so many side effects to meds), activated charcoal taken orally will often adsorb prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs, too. . The activated charcoal will fight the poisoning from a medication overdose. That's why every emergency room carries it. It is also used in many different detox programs to help absorb the chronic accu...

how many months is Cip 500 effective? ## Once the Ciprofloxacin has been removed from the oringal factory sealed container and placed in a pharmacy dispensing bottle, which exposes it to the elements, it is only good for one year from the date it was filled. The is the length of time that they can guarantee that it still maintains its full potency, if you store it properly at home. How long ago did you get it?

Will MiraLAX that expired 11/15 still be effective? It's the individually sealed powder type. ## Hi Carol, From what I could gather, MiraLAX does have a shelf-life and expiration. According to the frequently asked questions on MiraLAX.com, "It is not recommended to use MiraLAX beyond the labeled expiration date.” However, I do think some factors influencing its expected shelf-life or integrity may also depend upon how it was stored as well as how long it has been since the product expired. If it hasn't been too long (e.g. a few months), my personal opinion is that it's probably fine, as expiration dates themselves can be arbitrary numbers, but you're still probably better off getting a new batch if you want to play it safe. Additional product information from D...

If it is in bottle as dispensed by your pharmacy, it has an expiration date of one year, from the date you received it, because those bottles expose it to the elements that cause degradation. If it is in the original factory sealed bottle, then it is good for approximately 4 years, from the date you received it. I would like to know if anyone has used this and their opinion. I am also looking for a store that sells this product. ## Contac Allergy/Sinus Day medication contains Dextromethorphan + Acetaminophen (APAP). Both of these ingredients can be found over-the-counter at your local drug store (Walgreens, CVS, etc). I personally haven't used this medication, but I do highly recommend trying out raw local honey if you do suffer from bad seasonal allergies. Eating raw local honey can actually relieve seasonal allergies. It is said to work much like an allergy shot in that it exposes you to small amounts of allergens to help your body build immunity to the allergens. When bees pollinate to make honey, they bring back allergens from the flowers, trees, and other plants. This leaves small trac...
