I am hoping that someone can help! I am searching for a pain management provider in West Tennessee (Jackson TN, Memphis TN, etc.... I was brutally attacked at work (law enforcement) and left for dead. Everything pretty much healed up over time except my left shoulder. It was pretty much shattered! Now it is made up of alot of screws and pins. 6 surgeries later and I am still in debilitating pain. The pain clinic I was going to shut down for being pinched for insurance fraud. It sucks because there was no warning before hand what so ever. I need a doc that will prescribe my meds and not just put it off as these inj's. will work. I need a pain management doctor in the northern virginia or central virginia area that accepts medicaid and isn't scared to prescribe the necessary medications for chronic pain. ## I'm sorry, but there are no listings of doctors according to what insurance they accept, or what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. All doctors have to be very careful about what they prescribe, due to severe government regulations. If they don't, they could lose their license to practice medicine and most doctors have far too much time and money invested in their careers to be willing to do that. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that could refer you to someone? If so, that would most likely be the easiest way to get the help you need.

I am searching for a good pain management doctor in Louisiana. The only pain medication I can tolerate is Methadone. ## You will need a copy of your medical records from your previous dr. There is no guarantee that another dr will prescribe you Methadone. When someone asks for a specific drug, it is a red flag or drug seekers. So it might be best to get an appointment and see a dr and take your medical records. You might have to see them for a few months before you will know if they will prescribe you Methadone. ## I have been in chronic pain for more than 17 yrs. since 2000. I had 3 disc badly ruptured and rendered me disabled, multiple back inj's, mri, cat scans, etc. I had a pain management doctor but he moved. I am suffering badly now from insomnia and awful pain that awakes me ...

I'm hoping someone out there could help me. I'm in need of a good pain management doctor in ne pa who also isn't afraid to write scripts for pain meds. I have medical problems so i'm in chronic pain. Please help me ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? Due to the regulations that were put in place last year, all doctors must be cautious about the prescriptions they write and why they write them, otherwise, they risk losing their license to practice medicine, as well as possible fines and jail time. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, having them refer you to someone will likely be the easiest way to get the help you need. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?

Can anybody give me some advice or their own experiences with pain management doctors in Charlotte North Carolina? I suffer from chronic pain in my neck, lower back, and primarily in my left leg from a severe knee injury in '09. I broke my Tibia, Fibula, tore my acl, pcl, and the perineal nerve. My ortho surgeon said I had a 50/50 chance of having dropfoot due to the severity of nerve damage even if the reconstructive surgery went well. Luckily that did not happen, but I did have to have a 2nd surgery about 7 months later due to unexplained pain where my pcl is located and limited movement and strength gaining. The surgery was arthoscopic and although he said he removed more scar tissue than he had ever seen(what he assumed was causing my limited motion too), he said it looked like ...

Hi there, I'm currently coming off kaiser insurance and am looking for new PM specialist. I've been taking 10/325 norcos, 1mg clonazepam, Percocet and promethazine syrup. I was in a bad accident about 3 years ago and have had consistent back and lower sciatica pain that keeps me hobbled over all day and keeps me awake at night. Doctors have been turning patients away and lowering thier doses left and right, I'm just looking for a solid refferal to a legit doctor who will listen and not make me feel like I shouldn't be asking, all kaiser doctors make it awkward when talking pain pills. I've been searching and calling but so far nothing has hit other than a doctor in Hollister but he was just let go two months ago! I NEED HELP! SOS! I just want relief and I don't know

How are you? Sorry about the problems that you're having. However, the days of any doctor prescribing stuff, without trying other non-narcotic options first are over. New regulations were put in place this year that makes it even harder for them. Do you have a PCP that could refer you to someone? That would most likely be the fastest and easiest way to get the help you need. What problem did you have with the...

My mother in law just moved down here from SC. She's in need of a GOOD pain management doctor as she has had 2 back surgeries and has had a broken skull 3 times. She's on SSI and Medicaid. ## Hello, Bella! How is she doing? Since she is on Medicaid, the easiest way to get her the help she needs will most likely be by getting her in with a new PCP, then having them refer her to a PM specialist. Does anyone know of any good doctors in that area? ## I have been on oxycodone 10mg 4×day, for 5 years. I have had 3 neck surgeries, one back surgery, a hip replacement, and I have arthritis all over... including my spine. My doctor suddenly stopped the oxycodone and gave me xtampza 13mg, 2× daily. Hi, A few months ago I got out of bed and had severe pain down my right leg. The doctor diagnosed it as sciatica prescribed me two 5/500 vicodin ever 6hours and 8 Weeks of physical therapy. The meds had no effect at all. When I went back I told the doc they were not helping so he upped it to 10/325 norco 6x a day. At first they only helped a little bit, he told me to take it 4x a day and my pain got "under control." I went back and saw a different doc at the same practice because my normal one was booked solid. The new doc took one look at my chart and told me that my Rx was too high, so she switched me to 10Mg oxycodone every 6 hours. For a few Weeks it helped as much as the norco but the pain got worse (I have a narrow spinal column, arthritis, and 4 herniated discs). I had a ...

I'm having a hard time finding a pain management dr in New Jersey, I'm wiling to travel to Philly. I've been on my medicine since 2008, my doctor just suddenly stopped writing my scripts, now what. No one wants to write for what I been on and I don't know what to do. Does anyone know of a dr that can help me please!! ## Hello, Becca! How are you? Part of the problem may be due to your asking them to write for certain medications. If you're asking that, before you go in for an appointment and establish a relationship with the doctor, they're going to view that as being drug seeking behavior. Is there a chance that the doctor that was prescribing could refer you to someone? That might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone suggest a g...

I take morphine and dilaudid for chronic pain associated with my 9 hip surgeries and three car accidents I would like to take methadone for pain management instead of what I'm taking I live in Clearwater Florida ## Hello, Karen! How are you? I'm sorry about what you've been through. Why do you want to switch? Are the Morphine and Dilaudid working for you? Most doctors aren't going to want to prescribe Methadone, due it's extremely addictive nature.
