hallo,iam useing sazo 500 mg for chronic dermatities ,doctor told that it is for immunity delopement i want know more about sazo please send me a Email thank you ## From the information I am finding, Sazo contains the active ingredient Sulfasalazine and I can't find any information on it being used to improve immunity. It is an anti-inflammatory, that is normally used to treat conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and rheumatoid arthritis. It is rarely used any more, because it has shown evidence of being hepatoxic. what is the side effects of sazo500 ## Sulfasalazine is the active ingredient in Sazo 500. Sulfasalazine causes temporary infertility in males. Fertility returns when the medicine is stopped. It can also cause your urine or skin to turn yellowish-orange; this effect is harmless. Hi, I am 29 years old and i was suffering from pain in my both knees and I was use sazo-500 with indocap sr in 2006 for one year and after that period I was never feel any pain but from last 1week I am suffering from the same pain in backbone .pls suggest? ## Have u taken a blood test... Blood test will let u know if u have RA.. in 2006 u say u have been prescribed with RA medicines.. on what basis did they prescribed these tablets.. def the doctor might have asked to do a test to chk if ur are prone to RA.. sazo 1000 instead of 2 sazo 500
Doctor prescribed me to take 2 sazo 500 tablets at noon and night. Is it okay to have one sazo 1000 tablet insteed of 2 500 tablets? , as i only 1000 mg tablet near my place. ## nope please do whatever the doctor says... iam not sure whether u are having RA.. if so after a month the doctor will def ask u to take sazo 1000 mg twice per day.. ## @Stalin, If you're only able to fill your prescription for the 1000mg tabs, then you may need to get one of those pill cutters that divide it in two, in order to meet your doctor's dosing criteria. He probably wants you to take it twice in order to keep it building up in your system throughout the day.
