It is an anti-inflammatory, that is normally used to treat conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and rheumatoid arthritis. I am a rheumatoid arthritis patient. My doctor has advised me to have 4 sazo 500 and 2 HCQS tabs during a day. I am taking these medicines since last 2 years. But i have doubts and worried about the side effects of these medicines. I am 30 years old and not married yet. As per doctor's recommendation my mother (age 63) is taking 6 tablets of Sazo 500 every day. She is suffering from acute bout of nausea which is one of the side effects of this medication. Doctor prescribed me to take 2 sazo 500 tablets at noon and night. Is it okay to have one sazo 1000 tablet insteed of 2 500 tablets? , as i only 1000 mg tablet near my place. ## nope please do whatever the doctor says... iam not sure whether u are having RA.. if so after a month the doctor will def ask u to take sazo 1000 mg twice per day.. ## @Stalin, If you're only able to fill your prescription for the 1000mg tabs, then you may need to get one of those pill cutters that divide it in two, in order to meet your doctor's dosing criteria. He probably wants you to take it twice in order to keep it building up in your system throughout the day. I am suffering from gas and loose motions. Can sazo 500 be used for irritable bowel syndrome? ## It might help, but should only be taken if your doctor has instructed you to do so. My wife has been suffering from arthritis (eg. ankle swelling and tenderness). Her weight is approx 70 kg. Why heavy itching on both legs this is because of above medicine taking or any other problem ## I have itching problems especially on my both legs, some parts of my body and and both forearms. It does not heal properly and keeps itching. It is a small spot like on the skin or like a pimple or rather rash. It is terrible often when it starts itching and sometimes tiny blood comes out from the scratched area. Can you please advise me as how to solve my itching problem ? Thank you.

What is SA 20 tablet strength 500? Had been prescribed for inflammatory arthritis. Unable to trace the generic name. ## I think you are referring to Sazo 500 tablets. (The name has a "Z" instead of a "2"). It contains Sulfasalazine 500 mg which is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease.
