I am trying to find a Dr that will prescribe me percocet for my back and neck pain. ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. However, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Have you discussed the situation with your PCP? They should be able to refer you to someone that can help. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I have been taken off soma by my pain doc in Sarasota. Does anyone know a pain doc in Sarasota, Bradenton, St Petersburg or Tampa Florida who still writes them? Skelaxin makes me have nausea & vomiting, on flexeril I fell asleep driving and nearly crashed, baclofen did the same with sleepiness. Please help, I'm so uncomfortable. I was on soma for 17 years. My primary will write them, but won't write my pain meds so I'm stuck. ## Have you asked your primary care doctor about still prescribing them for you, while you receive pain medications elsewhere? Unless you have a pain management contract that forbids it, or are trying to double up on controlled substances, you can receive medications from more than one doctor, at a time. I had thyroid cancer 11 years ago and I have not been the same since I had my thyroid removed. I dont know if I should be blaming the fact that I dont have a thyroid on my issues or if I am truly depressed. I want to be off Pristiq to see how I am now without any meds. I am having a lot of bad thoughts but don't know if that is part of the withdrawl. I have not had any brain zaps and I had taken my 50mg every other day for 2 weeks and am now on every 3rd day. My husband has been relentlessly trying to fill my scripts for over a week, spending hrs on end daily, going from Parmacy to Pharmacy, with no luck. I've had CHRONIC pain for near 8 yrs from car accident, where I was sole survivor. I've never had a problem filling my medications until now. I can NOT function without them and have no hope of any quality of life without the assistance of these. My pain is unbearable and I can't stand that my children have to see me in pain. It's humiliating for my kids to see me cry, struggling to do simple tasks. I REALLY NEED FOR SOMEONE TO HELP ME find a Pharmacy that has in stock in Sarasota FL. I've even called my Dr to see if they could change my scripts, so I don't have to be in so much pain, and apparently he's out of t...

is lisinopril safe for dog use an what is doseage per dogs weight? ## Hi sara, Lisinopril is not FDA approved for use in veterinary medicine, however it is still being used for veterinary purposes. From what I've read, it has become an accepted practice for veterinarians to prescribe this medication to cats and dogs. It is prescribed for the treatment of heart failure, high blood pressure, certain types of heart valve disease and some forms of kidney disease. Lisinopril does require a prescription from your veterinarian, and is sold per tablet. I would speak with your veterinarian in regards to the dosage, since only he/she will know the correct amount for your dog based on his/her weight and medical history. I hope this helps!

I have been prescribed Clonazepam (Klonopin) for 7 years, first for Restless Leg, then for ALS. The ALS was diagnosed at Columbia Presbyterian 3 months ago. My symptoms are clear but not completely incapacitating yet. In 7 years I have either lost or taken too many pills 3 times and each time nobody would help me, so I would go to the hospital, where I was always admitted (of course). This time I took too many pills and I just don't want to go to the Emergency Room again. It's ridiculous. They'lll keep me 2 weeks when prescribing the drug would do it... Im trying to get pregnant and I got the mirena out over 6 months ago and I have yet to get my period. So my dr prescribed me medroxypr ac 10mg. And i was wondering how long after taking it will i start ovulating again? ## Hello, Sara! How are you? Ovulation usually occurs the 14th or 15th day of your cycle, so if these induce a period, it would be about 2 weeks from that day. However, there is no guarantee that you will ovulate, even if these work to induce a period. The FDA classifies this medication as being a hormonal supplement and lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms. I just got some 5 mg. diazepam for anxiety and sleep help. They are orange, produced by MYLAN. I have never seen this drug in any color but yellow. Now, I am worried. Is there any difference in this orange diazepam from the yellow diazepam? I knew what to expect fromthe yellow ones. I am leary of the orange tablets. ## Hi Sarah, It's important to know that when you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may agree with one medication over the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever sid...

I take about 2-3 Benadryl a day for allergies. I can tell when it wears off because my eyes itch and I constantly sneeze. I am just wondering if there is a long term side affect by taking it everyday? I no longer get tired from it but it really helps with allergies , fast ! ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? Yes, taking it daily for a long period of time risks causing vision problems, such as blurry vision. Other typical side effects of this antihistamine, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include dizziness, dry mouth and weight gain. If you have allergies that severe, it would be best to speak to your doctor about something you can take on a long-term basis that would be less risky. There are many available, some even over the counter, now. Is there anything else I can help with?
