SMALL WHITE TABLETS ## My mother has been on Atenolol for her blood pressure for years and now the pharmacist told he is out of Atenolol and gave her Sandoz as a replacement. Is this medication the same as Atenolol? ## Well Sandoz is the drug company name, not the medication name, so I cannot tell you if this is the same stuff or not, unless you provide the imprint on the pill, or the medicine name. ## Hi. I have been taking atenolol 25 mg for possibly 10 years or more and never had a problem with sandoz. I switched pharmacies and was given Sandoz Ativan, I have been having a terrible time- it is like it is creating more anxiety. I switched back to my old pharmacy and am counting the days until I get back to the Milan manufacturer. It has been a horrid 2 weeks. Melatonin helps a great deal with sleep. I started off with Milan and had been on that for 2 years with no problems, I wonder if your body resists another generic brand and you have to adjust. All I know if Milan is what I need and I always get the same manufacturers for all my meds since 12 years ago from CVS- they are very consistent. Be very careful if you switch pharmacies, I learned that all generics are NOT THE SAME. ## Just found this out: Purepac/Activis was bought out by Watson in 2012. coated from the 1960's ## what was the name of the small tan oval pill with the word sandoz on it. It was a tranguilizer that I took in the 1960's and was taken off the market in the late 1970's. It was prescribed to me when I was 17. It made me so doped up that my parents refused to let me continue taking it. I was never able to find a doctor who could tell me the name of it. It was so long ago. I just remember what it looked liked and how awful it made me feel.

small round pill appears to be peach or lt tan in color with sandoz imprinted in white... possibly from the 1950's to 1970's ## I found the above mentioned pills in a bottle with handwritten instructions that simply said for rest there are no numbers or anything on the pills. They simply are round, coated pills with SANDOZ imprint ## Did you ever find the answer to your "Sandoz" pill question. I have run across the same pills from the '70's. Looking for more info!?

Sandoz omeprazole is inferior and does not have the same efficacy as other generic omprazole manufactured in the state. The FDA is NOT doing their job to protect Americans from inferior medications produced overseas. RiteAid has turned to maximizing profits over the safety of their customers by purchasing these drugs from manufacturers like Sandoz ## I'm having the same issue with Sandoz omeprazole. CVS changed to this brand in the summer of 2015 and I started experiencing acid reflux problems that very same day. Now again Express Scripts gave me the same Manufacturer's omeprazole 40mg and the very same day I again started having problems.

Hello I was just prescribed 100 mg of bupropion sr twice a day. It's a blue pill that says E410. I was wondering if this pill causes weight gain? ## Hi Ali, How are you? Contrary to what you might be experiencing, the drug monograph for Bupropion only lists "weight loss" as a general side effect, and nothing to do with weight gain in that regard. However digging a little deeper I did notice other individuals post their concerns about having problems with gaining extra weight while they were taking Bupropion. With that said, part of me does wonder if taking this medication may have resulted in certain changes in behavioral/emotional patterns when it comes to eating more or less food throughout the day. The ironic part is that it also lists "loss of appetite" as a pote...

I have been trying to get Sandoz Lorazepam, and finally after three months I found a drugstore that actually cares about people, Bath Drugstore in Bath, Pa. they are the best. They didn't tell me that they didn't carry Sandoz, they told me...Tell us what you need and we will order it for you...GOD BLESS THEM..... ## Hi Marjorie, Even though it took some time, I'm happy to hear that you were able to get your prescription filled from a reliable pharmacy. It seems like finding one like that is considered to be somewhat rare now-a-days, especially with all the strict regulations that have been put in place by the DEA over the past few years. I would encourage you to stay with them as long as you're able to. Not many others out there seem to have it together enough to make th...

I hope that I can save just even one person from taking clonazepam. The FDA doesn't protect us from these pharmaceutical companies. I've been living in pure hell for months due to bad batches of clonazepam being sold in our local pharmacies. Google FDA warnings to Sandoz. That's all it is, a warning not a recall. ## Dear Sandra, Sorry to hear about your reaction to Sandoz Clonazepam. If you're able to, I'd encourage you to file a detailed report through the FDA's MedWatch program at: fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch. This may help get your voice heard among other patients who reported similar experiences. I'd also let them know that their drug approval process could use a facelift and perhaps a complete overhaul of whatever protocols they use for evaluating drug safet...

I've been using the lisinopril 10 mg by Sandoz for quite some time now and in February 2016, I refilled my prescription and surprise to see a round sd hoped pill instead of the Oval that I used to get so I took it back to the pharmacy and the assured me that the pill was by Sandoz and that they changed the shape from oval to round. ## Hi Dio, Thanks for the heads up on the pill change. It's unfortunate that pharmacies have to make this a surprise for us at every refill. I was just looking up some information on these round lisinopril tablets by Sandoz and am not sure if I found the correct imprint, but I believe their 10mg is marked with "E 101" and carries the following National Drug Code: 00185-0101. Interesting that they would choose to change pill shapes. And I doubt...
